No it will not as long as you keep the package sealed. They last about 6 months.

What is the typical shelf life for this product assuming I do not open it?

It's a weird question, being that who would buy a product of cheese, then to not open it, and allow it to sit??? Overall curiosty of the taste is why you purchase the item... But, when i received the order, i was a bit dissapointed, as for the actual size of it... Wasn't expecting it to be so small... But taste was pretty good.
