To be clear, it is the diameter, or gauge, of the bolts which is too large. The length is good, the heads are convex (unlike the cheaper stainless steel pool ladder bolts sold on Amazon with concave heads) and all other aspects of the bolts look fine. However, they do not fit and are not described properly here on Amazon.UPDATE ONE, 7-26-17: The company refused my return request because I am outside of their normal 30-day return policy. Not their fault, but I would hope that they would make an exception because their description is incomplete/inaccurate. I have requested an exception and will update this review once I have their answer.UPDATE TWO, 8-4-2017: The company graciously issued a refund, less a reasonable restocking fee (again, they charged the fee as I only discovered the problem after their return policy limit expired). While the problem with the product remains, my customer service experience was top-notch. Will be using them to (hopefully) find a suitable replacement.
