You will definitely need help getting into this unless you're a dress wearing goddess who does this daily. Material : The material for the upper portion (corset style top) is actually quite nice and soft. The bust area is a bit stiff but it has to be. As for the lower half, the material still feels nice, but it's not nearly as soft. I think the implied idea is you'll be wearing a petticoat which would essentially keep the material off your body. At a glance, the stitching seems to be very strong and even, and there are no strays floating around on mine. I'm not a seamstress by any means so your dress may vary. Other : Without the petticoat this will still be a beautiful dress, but with it is how you'll definitely achieve that big ball gown look. I'm not an expert on petticoats so I'm not exactly sure which one you'll need for that type of look, but I do plan on finding out.
