Kids Travel Journal: My Travel Diary for Australia

I was expecting more of an activity book, or at least a book that was unique to Australia. This is a generic travel journal with a few basic pages at the front about Australia (flag to color, etc). The travel journal pages offer some simple prompts for kids (where they went, what they ate, what they saw, etc), and then repeat over and over. That may be useful for some kids, but it wasn't what we were looking for. There are also a few simple games in the back but they are so basic it seems silly to pay for them (tic tac toe pages, for example). Sadly my kids didn't end up using these on our trip so for us it was a waste of money. They loved the "Kids' Travel Guide to Australia" activity book which is also available on amazon. I highly recommend that product if you're looking for an activity book related to traveling in Australia with kids if you're looking for a book to engage your kids in the history and culture down under.

Kids are very excited for this journal! It has plenty of pages to fill for our 3 week vacation and yet allow the kids to record daily what they did, saw, ate, etc.
