The Third Wheel.
As some have mentioned about the consistency there is some viscosity to this serum which allows you to not waste it. I've used acids since the 90's, my skin is acclimated to them of all sorts. I'll say I tend to lean on glycolic products as opposed to say 'gentler' acids like azaelic, and lactic. For dullness, uneven skin tone and regular exfoliation with OUT dryness like with salicylic, I find glycolic is the standard overall ingredient. I will say I miss the L'Oreal Pure sugar scrub in Purify(green) it was gentle and non oily but this serum is better. I like the formula of the L'Oreal Revitalift 10% Glycolic face serum its not a lotion or cream, which for combo/oily people one has to careful with emollient type formulations, its a 'slippery gel' with thankfully, no silicone. This serum does even the skin tone, gently exfoliates, and doesn't irritate or dry my skin. Effective cleansers for my skin type allows the serum to work effectively with progressive results. I love La Roche Posay EFFICLAIR or Clinique liquid soap oily skin. These clean effectively without leaving residue that may affect the efficacy of any active or treatment product. Next I Tone with Garnier Purity 3n1 Micellar or Clinique 3 toning lotion. L'Oreal revitalift 10% glycolic on damp or dry skin then add either the Ordinary beta glucan gel moisturizer or Clinique jelly moisturizer or L'Oreal collagen filler moisture bounce serum as my lite lotion moisturizer. Add spf , currently I'm using L'Oreal collagen moisture filler spf 30 All are light weight don't feel sticky, thick or gummy on the skin. Affordable and efficacious.

Blackheads GONE, Evens texture
I buy this for my teens and their acne/blackhead era. I also buy this because it evens my texture and stops razor burn SO well! About 3 times a week we double cleanse with a gentle cleanser, apply this (a little goes a long way, great slip) then finish with either healing ointment or Vaseline. When I tell you that this is a game changer for breakouts, texture and glass skin glow- it is. No hype. We tried all derm recommendations/skincare combos but this is the one! I would give this about two weeks and you will see results in these issues no doubt. It has been hard to find lately so I hope Amazon keeps selling it.

This is worth buying
At my age, the wrinkles are deep and many. It's a challenge to find a moisturizer that makes a dent. I have found this one helpful in diminishing the deepest wrinkles. It is absorbed quickly. Skin seems softer the next day. I do use it in conjunction with a moisturizing cream at night. It helps.

Works for acne prone skin, young and old
This product has minimal ingredients and it works. I have much clearer and fresher skin as a middle aged person who tends to get clogged pores and has fine lines. Additionally, my 12 year old daughter benefited from this as an acne treatment. It was the secret missing ingredient in her routine to prevent large blackheads and random breakouts. She alternates using differin one night, and this glycolic acid serum the next night after washing with the coordinating revitalift glycolic acid cleanser. I know it's marketed toward older women but both the serum and the cleanser have few ingredients which is a bonus if you have sensitive skin, and they really seem to help with blackheads. I can no longer find this product in stores so I hope it continues to be available online!

I keep buying this!
I just ordered what is probably my 5th bottle of this, so I guess you'd say I like it. It's not an instant miracle, but nothing really is. What creates good skin is a consistent routine over time. I always apply this glycolic acid at night and each bottle lasts about 10 months. In the morning I use the L'Oreal's hyaluronic acid and I love that one too. In addition, I'll mention that I just bought the 3% retinol for the first time, but I haven't used it enough to have any opinion on it yet. I have a prescription for Retin A but I've always had trouble with how dry and flaky it makes my skin so we'll see how the L'Oreal Retinol serum works. Back to the glycolic acid. I put a LOT of things on my face (especially in the a.m.) and take very good care of my skin, so admittedly it's hard to separate out what each item does. However, after washing my face with Cetaphil, I apply the hyaluronic acid, then I use an oil, then an Olay face cream I really like. Over the years I think I've tried everything out there including some very expensive high end creams and oils, but I eventually found my favorites in the Olay, L'Oreal and Neutrogena lines. If you find the right formulation for your particular skin, I've learned you absolutely do not have to pay the ridiculously high department store brand prices. I always wash my skin at night no matter what, then apply the glycolic acid and then an Olay Retinol night cream. Perhaps I'm lucky, perhaps it's good genes, perhaps it's because I've never been one to spend time tanning in the sun, but at 74 I don't have wrinkles and my skin is moist and young looking. I think that's because I have always taken such good care of my skin my entire life. No one believes my age, and I think good skin has something to do with that. Another positive is that I've never smoked (killer of women's skin and a wrinkle-maker) and I don't take in a lot of alcohol. I've seen that those two things do make a huge difference, so my advice to young women is to pay attention. I know an awful lot of women my age whose skin looks terrible, sallow, wrinkled and just plain old. You can avoid that fate with proper care.

Recommend 100% !!
I received this on January 22. It's now February 12, and I'm already noticing a big difference. I've got about 1/2 the "fine lines" I had a few weeks ago, and the dark spots I noticed staring to show up have all but disappeared. This seem WORKS! I'll be ordering this on a regular basis now, and recommend it to anyone who's staying to look their age... I'm 57 now, but what pushed me into looking for age correcting stuff was: the last time I had to go to the E.R., the nurse wrote in my chart that I "appear older than stated age"... to all medical people out there... YES, patients DO read that stuff, and yes, it does hurt some feelings. I was SICK, and who knew nurses could be cruel like that? Maybe reword it if you've absolutely got to say something like that! Still, it got me too start working on my skin... and this seem really does work wonders! Goes on smooth, soaks in quickly, non-greasy, and I put it on under eye and face moisturisers. My skin is super sensitive, but I've had zero problems with breakouts or irritation. 100% recommend!

Very watery consistency, expected a thicker type serum
I've had glycolic acid before and this seems pretty watery, runny. Thought it'd be a thicker serum feel. Too early to tell how it will work, but that was first impression.

Crumpled box
Parcel delivery was fast. But upon opening the package, the box was very crumpled. There was also a sticker pasted over the box’s barcode.

A Winner From L'Oreal!
This stuff is a gentle exfoliant and then a lovely lotion to keep skin soft and supple. I like L'Oreal products in general and this one in particular. i use it evey evening and leave it on before layering on other moisterizers. I suggest you try it once every couple of days to see if your skin is sensitive to it. I use it every night as my skin handles this product very well. Be sure to use sun screen if you;re using this product. I have some fine lines and wrinkles and I believe they are improving too, albeit slowly.. I am a skin care junkie, try all products at least once, and I cannot be without this stuff.

Resurfaces and hydrates
This serum resurfaces and hydrates well. After a pimple, it helps with my bumpy and flaky skin. It also helps with cloged pores. It's fragrance free and suits my sensitive skin. I use this glycolic acid 2 nights a week. The others nights I use retinol. I just don't use it if my skin has inflammation. On those nights I just hydrate.
