Love it!
It shipped quickly nice for living in Alaska, most things take twice as long to get to me. So I unpacked right away, everything was there and in order. I decided to try it out for what it is, a Hostess mini cupcake maker. The batter for their recipe, mixed up great and looked heavenly. I filled the slots as said right up to the top, I thought no way it will rise and spill over. But set timer for 5 mins. Came back, lifted the lid and NO spill over, just perfect mini cupcakes. I lifted them right out and just had normal crumbs left in the slots. Took a paper towel and rubbed, it all wiped right out, no fuss no muss! I followed up making the filling and filled them easy, though it did say use 3 Tbls in each, that can't happen, but 1 Tbls works well. Made the chocolate for dipping, they covered great. Then made the white frosting and with the groves the give on top, I had no problem putting on the design. The kids loved them and so did I. They are really small, but so cute. I then made corn bread muffins filling to top and again no spill over, came out easy and clean up was a breeze. I have tried other machines and never had them work as they said they would. I would for sure recommend this to anyone that likes little fancy cupcakes. Going to try mini corn dogs next.

unbelievble
I don't believe this could possibly make Hostess cupcakes, I am thinking I need to return this for a refund. This just makes regular cupcakes. I can do that without this expensive machine

Not exactly what I was expecting---but good
Really neat to make the cupcakes, but they are about half the size of the real thing. Recipe is good. Pastry bag broke (tore open) on first use. I might have made the filling a bit too thick for it. Non-stick is great and cleanup is minimal. Having fun!

Hostess Cupcake Maker is Great
I bought this for my daughter to make her own cupcakes, she is 9, She can work the machine perfectly and has used it for over a month now. She absolutely loves it! I would recommend to anyone wanting a convenient fast easy way to make miniature cupcakes. The only thing I did not like about this product was the icing bag was junk, it fell right apart, the icing started coming out of holes everywhere on the side. This was no biggie for us since we have several of our own that we already use! It gets very Hot also, so make sure that when using with children that they do not get near it, unless being very cautious!

Worthless
It broke coming out of the package. It's made of the cheapest materials available, and personally, I wouldn't even try to bake with it for fear of setting my house on fire. It's not worth the box it came in. Don't waste your money; buy a cupcake pan and use your oven.

not fluffy like hostess cupcakes
The first receipe we tried was very heavy, thick and chewey, not fluffy like hostess cupcakes. Also there is no way to add iceing to the inside of the cake, like the original hostess cake.
