Has a great reach and gets the job done
I attempted to use this for clearing a gutter on the 3rd story from the bottom up (about 32 feet up [10m]). It unfortunately got stuck on a screw about 3/4 of the way up, but it was impressive it got that high. I used it to clear the downspout drain, with great success! The additional gloves were very helpful, and have been great for other uses outside of clearing drains.

Plumbing Snake
The plumbing Snake 35 foot Drum Auger drain cleaner was the best one around. It went all the way up and down my pipes without getting stuck or jammed. Was long enough for all my pipes and was easy to use. Made my job a whole lot easier. Good product to have around.

Easy to use, works great
Got this a few weeks ago, and just recently had the “opportunity” to use it on the kitchen sink.Very easy to use, just unscrew the little nut to release the top of the snake, pull it out a few inches, retighten the nut, point the snake down the drain, and screw the handle until either the water starts draining or the snake ends, then crank the handle the other direction until it comes back up all covered in gunk. Gross but effective. Comes with thick rubber gloves that go up to my elbows, which I greatly appreciated.Got my sink unplugged in 5 minutes, usually would have had to wait a day or more and spent $350 on Roto Rooter.

Acceptable for the price, but shorter than described
Auger is 3 feet short, otherwise worked acceptably on kitchen sink. If it not for that, I would have given four stars. I have contempt for dishonest marketing. I used the full 32 foot length. Prior to use I painted some marks on the auger at 15, 20, and 25 feet so I would now how far in the pipe I had gone. At first, it did not clear the line and I know I had to be all the way to the main. I spent about an hour with a couple of pliers enlarging the tip diameter to cut a larger path. My pipe then cleared after repeat augering. I suspect it was a grease clog after seeing what was in the trap from prior owners. Advise advancing cable gently by turning the drum. No need to force in and out and doing so might even put a kink in the wire and then you have a huge problem if it were to get stuck in pipe. By the way, the auger is connected to drum and did not fall out upon reaching its end like an inferior competitors did. I also went pretty easy on the handle since it seems flimsy. The wire is thinner gauge than ones I have seen in the store and ones prior purchased from Brasscraft and RTI-TheWorks. Tough to measure without calipers but it was about 7/16" at widest parts of tip and majority of cable about 7/32 wide. Tip has multiple "bulbs" as depicted and is quite long. If you try to reshape tip and screw it up, I guess you could cut the last one off & still have more left to work with

It worked and didn’t break
I’m glad the spiral tip/head of the snake was on the smaller end. It fit my unusually small drain opening. This thing worked so im sure what the other reviewers were so mad about. It helped to watch a YouTube video on these things before starting. Saved me a lot of money and coordination with a plumber.

Got stuck in my shower drain
I'm an avid DIY-er, especially when it comes to fixing things, so I wanted to try and fix a clog in my shower pipe; shower gurgles when the toilet flushes. This tool came on 10/14/23 and I immediately went to use it after reading the not so clear instructions. Needless to say, the line got stuck in the shower pipe (I believe it kinked on itself and it is scraping the pipe). I have tried to get this thing out for at least 2-3 hours last night and have not successful. I'll be calling a plumber if I can't get the line out soon. Thankfully, it sounds like it's stuck at or around the P-trap, so hopefully, the cost won't be much. Welp, this is one DIY to leave to the professionals. Lesson learned.Ultimately, I didn't like the product at all. The tool was hard to maneuver and kinked horribly. Also, please write better instructions. I had to review how to use this tool to ensure things went smoothly 🙄😒 I will be returning this item when it comes out.

Worked fine
Very easy to work with and does the job well.

goodbuy
the tip could be a bit larger so it could penetrate the blockage better without having to pull the snake out and clean the end, otherwise exceptional

Does the job!
Good price! Easy to use. Only complaint; handle is a little small and delicate.

Did exactly what I needed
Wish it would’ve shipped faster but it worked perfectly, 10/10 would recommend
