I love these organic grass-fed milk nutrition drinks! They help me get needed nutrients and vitamins. The flavors taste so good 🤤 Vanilla, chocolate fudge, strawberry cream.🙀 This drinks are a great value and have excellent quality! These drinks taste best cold, but it does not hurt to have them unrefrigerated. They are always a great treat!

I have been searching for a good-tasting protein shake. Before this one, I had the Orgain chocolate fudge, which I am not too crazy about because of the chalky aftertaste. I am so happy I tried this delightful vanilla flavor. The taste is balanced and pleasant. Making it an excellent choice for grass-fed milk nutrient drinks. Great meal replacement to skip one meal for me. Very satisfying.

**Update**: It's now 11/30/21 & have had these on auto ship for months, but this is the 3rd box (not in a row) that I have received where the shakes have little lumps in them. They also has a different texture. But what's crazy is it tastes & smells the same! It doesn't taste different at all, but has lumps & the consistency is so different it's like the ingredients are separating in my mouth. Gross I know. I feel it has to be an issue with how they are being stored at some point down the delivery chain. Not sure but I wish they would fix it!!! I miss drinking these! I was able to get a refund for one but now this last box Amazon tells me it's not eligible for return, although it says eligible for return through Jan 31st. Needless to say i chucked the whole box, cancelled my subscription & am now out $25. Taking a long break from ordering these cases off Amazon. I'm only knocking off 1 star because I still love the damn drink, & I'm not sure if it's an Orgain issue or Amazon issue. I've been drinking these for about 1 year now. I'm known to skip meals & these are great as replacements. I love that they are organic & the vanilla tastes awesome. I like mine really cold right out of the fridge, give it a good shake & it's good to go. Smooth going down, doesn't have an overpowering gritty texture like protein shakes do. And it's cheaper to buy in bulk & not have to go to the store so often. It evens out to about $2.50 per shake for me, & it's organic! Can't beat it.

See my notes later in this review, if you're questioning the CARRAGEENAN ingredient! These drinks are so good for you and they actually taste great! I've tried many, many health drinks and meal replacement drinks only to find they had ingredients that weren't so good for you or they tasted average to bad. That's not the case with Orgain drinks. They have (at least I know the Sweet Vanilla Bean drink has) 16 grams of organic protein, organic complex carbs for sustained energy, 10 certified organic fruits and veggies, 23 vitamins and minerals, free of soy, free of preservatives, free of artificial sweeteners, free of corn syrup. That's what I'm looking for in a healthy drink, that will be replacing my morning sweet coffee!! And if you're someone who quit drinking these drinks because they added STEVIA ... great news ... they removed it!! Yaay! I had a bad review posted here because of the Stevia being added (it ruined the flavor), but the company contacted me right away to let me know they have since removed the Stevia and they would make it right with me on any drinks I had purchased that still had the Stevia. Also, if you're concerned about the CARRAGEENAN like I was, I have posted below what I received as a response to an email I sent the company about that ingredient. I had told them it was not a safe ingredient, therefore I stopped drinking their drinks. ______________________ HERE IS THEIR RESPONSE ABOUT CARRAGEENAN ... Hi Robbi! Thanks so much for reaching out. As you know, Orgain is certified organic so we do not use hormones, antibiotics, GMO ingredients, pesticides, etc. We use an organic compliant, non-degraded form of carrageenan that comprises approximately 0.028% of the total product. You may also be interested in our new vegan shakes which do not use carrageenan and are sold nationally at Whole Foods. We also have a new plant based protein powder that does not use carrageenan and is available at all Costco locations. More info is attached for those as well. Finally, the trace amount we use is so low that we will work on transitioning it out of the shakes in the coming 6 months to avoid any consumer confusion on the type and quantity used. This used to be my go to protein/nutritional shake. I thought the vanilla flavor was yummy and it really helped me get some calories in in between meals. I really liked that they used mostly real sugar as fake sugars make me sick. They did have a little bit of Stevia in there; which normally I don't like, but I seemed to be able to handle it. However in changing the packaging they also changed the formulation. And they did not advertise at all that the ingredients had changed. I instantly realized something was different the moment I tried one of the bottles with the new packaging. It had that gross fake sugar/monk fruit extract taste to it. And low and behold, I check the ingredient list and they had added monk fruit extract to it. The taste was notably less good, but I powered through it and tried to incorporate the new formulation into my diet. I finally realized after a while of drinking them and eliminating other possible triggers that this stuff was making me sick. It gave me diarrhea every day that I drank one. It's really unfortunate that they added the Monk Fruit Extract to this, as alot of folks who cannot handle fake sugars (like Aspartame, sucralose), also cannot handle monk fruit extract and/or stevia. So now there is a whole group of people that cannot enjoy this shake or use it to keep their nutrition levels up. I'm also not sure WHY they added monk fruit extract, as the amount of sugar in the drink (12g, 22% DV), does not seem to have changed from the previous formulation. So now I have no protein shakes that I can drink, as the rest of them either have fake sugars or monk fruit extract in them. And the few who do have real sugar only in them tend to use WAY too much sugar. I wish they, or any company really, would just make a simple protein shake with NO sugar substitutes AT ALL in them, and instead use low to medium amounts of real sugar. I realize Americans want everything to be super sweet but there are a bunch of us out there that cannot handle intense sweetness or sugar substitutes due to a variety of health conditions (IBS, Crohns, UC, fibromyalgia, Mast Cell disorders, etc).

Ever since the dual cancer diagnosis, I lost all interest in food. Oncologists and nutritionists tried absolutely everything... and I mean EVERYTHING... to get me to eat, as I needed the stamina to endure breast cancer treatments. But food just made me nauseous! Appetite-inducing drugs, anti-nausea drugs, and even doctor-recommended THC (legal here in CA) still didn't work. It also doesn't help that I'm already a picky eater to begin with. My husband and the cancer center were VERY concerned about me. When someone from church recommended Orgain, which I had never heard of at the time, I was uninterested at first. I had already spent so much money trying out other protein/meal replacement shakes, and not one of them I could consume without having nausea. It was discouraging. I'm so glad I decided to give Orgain a shot, however. Can I just say... it's saving my life!!! It is the ONLY thing I can stomach right now. I was so pleasantly surprised. It doesn't leave you feeling heavy and full, yet you're satiated. It's yummy (vanilla is my favorite). It's become my daily regimen for 9 months now. I'm hooked. Doctors are so relieved (thanks Orgain!); otherwise, I would just wither away, deprived of nutrients. Speaking of nutrients! I was attracted to Orgain because of the flavor but when I learned about its high nutritional content (full of cancer-fighting phytochemicals) plus clean ingredients, I wanted it even more! When you get a cancer diagnosis, you suddenly become very paranoid about anything you put in your body. At least, that's how it was for me. I get a whole carton of Orgain every 2 weeks (see photo) from Amazon. Yep. That's how much I depend on it. I use it like creamer in my coffee, as a substitute for milk, and I make smoothies with it (adding strawberries, bananas. blueberries, and raspberries). Thanks to Orgain, I'm finally eating!!! Orgain, my doctors thank you too! 😊
