No pas level of 0
I purchased this bike as a gift for my brother and he is delighted with it. He likes the push button gear selection. Says it shifts very smoothly. The brakes were centered and work well. He wishes the phone holder would rotate. He uses a gps and has to look at it sideways. Life is so hard. Now for the negatives. The lower caged bearing set for the head tube was rolling free in the box. He didn’t discover this until he had assembled it and had to backtrack a bit. No big problem but irritating. The rear inner tube blew out during inflation. Aiming for 60 psi, within the recommended range on the tire, but didn’t reach it. Ya, had to be the rear tire. Had a replacement on the shelf so no great delay. Now the biggest issue in my opinion. The bike is advertised as having three distinct modes - electric bike, pas and ordinary bike. Well, not quite so. The bike goes into pas mode when you turn the key on. Pas has three speed levels with the lowest propelling you at about 13 mph when you rotate the crank. Okay so far, if you want to go that fast. However, you cannot get out of pas mode. If you want to just pedal the bike sans electric assist and use the throttle grip to go up hills, you can’t. To just pedal and avoid going 13 mph you have to turn the power off at the key. Then you are in ordinary bike mode. Here comes the hill - turn the key on and you can then use the grip to power up the hill, but if you pedal the pas tries to kick you to 13 or more. Also, the speed indicator and odometer do not work with the power off (ordinary bike mode).I got this for my brother because I already had an electric bike. It has a pas setting of 0 so you can pedal at 9 mph and apply a little power if you hit a grade or headwind. If they had a pas setting of 0 it would be great. But it doesn’t.I feel a little mislead in this regard. The bike does not have three distinct working modes as I understand them.

Amazing ebike
I got this bike today and the assembling was pretty easy as long as you have another person to help you, nothing was damaged but the user manual had the wrong bike picture but that didn't matter because it had the same components. I got it for my 13-year-old son and he loves it and how fast it can go. The battery took about 4 hours to charge. The only thing about the PAS system is even after you pedaled the motor would go for about half a second, but as soon as you put the brakes the motor turns off, so that's good to know. All in all, it is an amazing bike.

Budget Friendly E-bike That Wont Disappoint!!
Awesome product! I was skeptic at first but this bike is more than what I expected. The packaging was excellent and there were no damages - not even a scratch - noted upon opening. The bike had enough foam wrapping to protect the frame and all components. You will be emailed an electronic assembly manual which I found slightly confusing; however, the video link served me useful. Putting it together for me was a breeze. In less than an hour, I was able to ride the bike without the battery being charged. I tested the bike on my first ride and I was able to go for 15 miles on pure e-bike with a little battery juice left. The ride was good and would compare this on par with the $1.5K e-bikes you would find at your local bicycle stores. The 350W was adequate to propel me to 20 MPH but don't expect to clock 15MPH plus on a steep hill with electric mode. (as should be expected). The brakes were good but you would need to make some minor adjustment to ensure that the wheels spin freely. I don't consider the bike being too heavy and you can still ride it without any help from the motor - just like a normal bike.Overall, I highly recommend this bike to everyone who is on a budget and still looking for quality bike to use as a commuter or just ride around as a hobby. Quite frankly, I'm having way to much fun with this bike especially in electric mode. So far, I've only gotten 35 miles on this and haven't had any issues or whatsoever. Save $1K and purchase this bike instead. It won't disappoint you!
