I’m a 34D would the top fit me?

The strings are all tied by you so it should fit however you need it. May just take a couple tries to get it exactly how you want it

whats the bottom like? is it a g string?

No, just like a swim suit bottom.

Can I go swimming in it?

I wouldn't say no, the fabric is NOT water resistant so it won't dry like a bathing suit and water doesn't bead off of it, the set is a cotton blend
