Amazing prophecies of God's plans for the world can befound embedded in the customs of the feasts of Israel. The intricate detail of theprophecies illustrated in the observances of these feasts provide insight intoGod's plan for the ages. Review: Excellent - This is an excellent book. I am now 71 years old and have been teaching about Jesus and His fulfillment of the Feast for more than 20 years now. I did not have the resources that the writer did, as I am not acquainted with any Jewish Rabbi's, other than Jonathan Cahn who wrote "The Harbinger", also an excellent book. There are lots of books written on the Feasts of Israel, but this is the best one I have found. Lots of the Feast Books are "Replacement Theology" oriented which I totally disagree with. The Christian Church has NOT replaced Israel although most Israelites have no idea who they are. They seem to believe that the People of Israel no longer exist. There are 12 tribes and today we can only identify two of them. Judah is one and Levi the priestly tribe along with a portion of the tribe of Benjamin. This book is spot on about when Jesus was crucified and how Jesus fulfilled the first three feast (literally "set times".) Then the appearance of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost fulfilled the 4th Feast. It only stands to reason that the second coming of the Lord will fulfill the final 3 feast which are "Harvest Feast". Probably Jesus will return on the Feast of Trumpets. It also would appear that Jesus was born on the Feast of Trumpets as there are two trumpets. One for His first coming and the second trumpet for His second coming to earth. It is obvious that Jesus was not born in December when the weather is cold in Israel. We are told the shepherds were in the fields tending their flocks and they do not do this in the cold winter months. I certainly recommend this book. It is well written and very informative. One thing the author did not cover and I was a bit disappointed is the fact that Jesus was not crucified on Friday. There is no way to get three days and three nights from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. This error made by the church of Rome misinterprets the Sabbath that referenced in the gospels. Saturday is not the only sabbath. When the Feast of Unleavend Bread begins the evening of the Passover is called a "High Sabbath", and there are others as well. For those not understanding this very crucial bit of information will have difficulty in their faith as I did because you simply can't get 3 days and 3 nights from Friday afternoon to Sunday Morning. However you understand the feast you realize that the order of succession of the feast would require Jesus to be crucified that exact year that He was crucified. Any other year and the Feast would not have worked out as they did. Overall an excellent book. Review: A Great Aid to Understanding Prophetic Timing - I read this as part of a study on Jewish feasts. I found this book easy to read and presents ideas and concepts clearly. I appreciate the author's many references to scripture and the way he added information from Jewish writings and practices. Together, they made for a greater understanding and appreciation of how God unites His Word and human history. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of how God works in human history and how God's prophetic calendar is illustrated in the Jewish feasts.

Lots of good information
In order to understand how Jesus fulfills the feasts, you need to understand how the feasts are celebrated, and most of us Christians know nothing of our Jewish roots. This author does a good job of explaining how the feasts are celebrated, and he got his information from Jewish rabbis and other experts. If you are a Christian, this book will be a blessing to you, because it will help you understand the grand design of God's redemptive plan. I found this book very enlightening, and I'm sure I will refer to it again and again. The style is a little amateurish in spots, but the information is still very good.

"The Feasts are like going to the Theater and having a program on your lap."
I keep purchasing this book to give away, because I learned so much that strengthened my faith. You see, there are 7 Feasts of the Lord that the Lord told Israel to celebrate every year. And they did, for 2000 years before Christ came as a baby. "I learned that, "the feasts are like going to the theater and having the program on your lap so you know what's going on" (My paraphrase of Norton). Each Feast reveals part of God's plan to save us. The 4 Spring Feasts were all fulfilled by Jesus' death (Passover), Burial (Loaves), Resurrection, (First Fruits), and Jesus' sending of the Holy Spirit (Pentecost). Each of those 4 physical, historical, events happened to Jesus on the very day and hour that the priests were leading the Celebration for that year. The 3 Fall feasts have not been fulfilled. But we know that each of those 3 feasts will be fulfilled by Jesus on the very day that was planned from the beginning of time. We know this because Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever." I've been a believer for 60 years, and Unlocking the Secrets of the Feasts, by Norton, made Prophetic Scripture come alive for me. God wants us to know that His Son will return. We just don't know what year.

Little book big information
This little book is so interesting. I'm understanding more about the feasts and the connection with Christ. Definitely worth the $7.

Excellent! Very insightful
Michael Norton explains the meaning of the feasts of God with clarity and insight which comes from the traditional perspective of Jewish rabbis, as well as the fulfillment of messianic prophesy. Having been a student of the Word of God for over 40 years, I wasn't expecting to find so many clear and powerful illustrations of Jesus Christ in every festival! Norton has done a thorough job explaining the faithfulness of God and His attention to detail as He patiently and unmistakably reveals Jesus Christ as the Messiah and the central theme of each of the seven "feasts". I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in unlocking the truth of God's word and its amazing continuity. This book strengthened my faith in the amazing God of the universe, patiently illustrating His plan to restore an intimate, eternal relationship with His creation. Excellent!

Some good points
The author has little or no knowlege of YHVH's calendar, relying on the rabbinic calendar, whick is based on the moom and has to add a month to the year every four years in order to be in sink with the seasons. I hardly think that our creator uses a system that has to be adjusted. He does everything to perfection. This calendar iwas brought back to Israel from Babylon at the end of their captivity in 586 BC. The names of the months honor pagan gods such as Tammuz. At the time of Messiah the calendar was a highly contested subject. The legitimate priesthood refuses to serve in the second temple, beuse the use of the Babylonian calendar did not permit the High Holy days to be celebrated on the correct day. Since the Festivals are fixed appointment with YHVH, observing the incorrect date was an act of disobedience to the creators command. The Second Temple was goverened by correct men, who preferred "man's traditions" to YHVH's Commands.

A thrilling book
I was thoroughly blessed by the insight and scriptural revelation contained in this relatively short book. There is so much to absorb and assimilate....excellent teaching on a subject often thought to be only for the Jews. How refreshing an challenging to see these Feasts applied to the Church in these Last Days. A highly recommended book for all students of the Word.....yet explained in an understandable way. Highly recommended hence the 5 stars.
