How do I know it will fit before I buy?

Measure your outlet cover plate. Power Perch fits plates 2¼ to 3¼ in wide and 4¼ to 5¼ in tall. The shelf is 6 in wide, so you need about 1½ in of open wall on each side of the plate, clear of mirrors, backsplashes and trim.

Which version do I need?

This model fits a single vertical outlet (two plugs, one above the other). For horizontal outlets, choose Power Perch Horizontal. For double-wide 4-plug outlets, choose Power Perch Double. All are listed as options on this page.

Does it work with Decora or rocker-style covers?

Yes. It works with both standard and Decora covers within the plate sizes above, and you reuse your existing cover. It doesn't fit oversized jumbo plates.

My outlet is recessed or set back. Will it work?

Power Perch mounts behind your outlet cover, so the outlet needs to sit roughly flush with wall. If yours is recessed, turn off power at the breaker first. Loosen the screws that hold the outlet to the wall box so the outlet is flush with the wall.

How much weight can it hold?

Up to 10 lb. The 6 × 4 in shelf holds smart speakers, phones while charging, small routers and electric toothbrushes.
