Gliptone have been producing Liquid Leather leather smelling conditioner goods for many years and as such has gained a reputation for being the only product on the market that really does give that traditional and authentic smell of leather. This one lasts approx 6 months. The reason modern leather does not have the "leather" smell is due to the tanning process, the old system took days to complete and produced lots of polluting by-products. Liquid leather air fresheners give you the pleasing smell without the pollution.

It stinks.
Bought the "leather scented AIR FRESHNER". Hoped it would resurect the faded leather scent of our older all inside leather Mercedes. Instead it stunk it all up. Forgot to warn my wife, after she got in she came back and shouted "there is a dead animal somewherel in the car!"

Great Leather smell that lasts!
I had doubts that the smell would last very long, they usually don't, and I hadn't been able to find any leather scented fresheners that would last. This one does! I love it! Took it out of the wrapper completely and hung it near my steering wheel on one of the knobs. Still smelling it after 3 weeks.

Not worth the price to me
I ordered these thinking they were actual pieces of leather that I'd be able to spray with a refill once the smell wore off. At $5 each I was disappointed to see they're pressed paper, just like the little trees from the car wash. They did smell really good for about a month but I wouldn't pay $5 each for them again.

Great smell but too small
I've been using Gliptone products for years and the smell is exactly what old English cars should smell like. But these are too small. They make a large pad about 8x10" that fits under the seat and I'll get that next time.

This freshener is the best I've smelled
This freshener is the best I've smelled. not a chemical smell. An accurate replication of the smell of clean tanned leather goods. Sorta like a brand new leather jacket. Pleasing and "classy" a fragrance that is not overwhelming but for a little piece of cardboard this thing kicks. 1 week in still as strong as when I opened the package. This leather imitation blends well with the faint leather smell of my 01 seven series BMW. I'm actually hoping it diminishes in strength soon, because I only want a hint of that odor.

The two cardboard car fresheners were nothing more than the green tree fresheners.

Like others have said
Like others have said, they work well. They are similar to Yankee Candle "old leather" scent. I don't know the longevity yet, but after the first few days of smelling a bit too overwhelming, it has settled into an ideal level.
