Great Filter.
Probably the best particulate filter available at a reasonable price. Works great. Last one lasted over 15 years on a system used daily.

Not happy, but saved 2+ more dollars and not in ...
It said it will be days before I received it. Not happy, but saved 2+ more dollars and not in a rush. See 5 stars I left. Don't work for them, run the everlast welding forum. The due on Aug 4, received Jul 28 AM. And a better price than tooltopia too, so really happy now (they were the lowest outside of these guys).. But I heard tolltopia is good. The quality is great. Aluminum case. I did the 1/2" npt and bought reducers, per someone on our welding forum. Ran to homedepot (lowes has them too) and picked up 1/4"F to 1/2"M npt adapter (2 for about $8; HUSKEY SKU 368 081). Better volume for about the same price (m30 vs m60). 3 filters with it (they name it M100 with the filters, it's M60 with 3 filters). I have a small dryer in front of it too. Filters, I've heard you can use TP (toilet paper rolls) in it (one online comment and two real friend with paint shops). Also you can dry the old factory filters as well (what I will do). It will be use 24/7 for now on the compressor (tools, cutter, painting, fill a tire, whatever). But main reason was for plasma cutting. My homemade whole house disicant (sp) filter installed only when cutting, blew up and hurt me a bit (PSI was 120 or so and did not lower PSI; did not think about it one day and boom). Go this way please. The cost is not a lot more and the aluminum will split, plastic (whole house homemade) will throw pieces when they blow, cut you and bruise you good (trust me one that part).

Just the ticket for moisture free air...
Actually arrived early. I did have to get a couple fittings locally to adapt it to my plasma cutter but it will remove all the contaminates and moisture from the air supply to my plasma cutter which will greatly extend consumable life and plasma cutter consumables are expensive. I recommend it for any plasma cutter, good insurance against failure from entrained moisture in the air supply. It actually came with one sub micronic filter installed in the housing and 2 more extra filters in the package for a total of 3. The clamping lid was extremely tight when I received it and I had to loosen it in a vise, way too tight. I just applied a light coating of Vaseline to the internal rubber gasket and finger tighten the top lid to the bottom section and it seals just fine. Keep in mind that it's rated at 125 PSI maximum pressure so if your air supply is above 125 PSI, you will need a pressure regulator post filter but then most plasma cutters only require 125 PSI air anyway.

poor quality threading, wouldn't initially seal even using teflon tape.
Only complaint was poor quality control on threading - couldn't seat fittings properly due to poor quality of threading in the housing. I was lucky I had a 1/2 NPT tap and was able to chase the threads and clean it up to where fitting now seat properly and seal. Otherwise it's a well made product, came with 3 filters, one inside and 2 replacements. I would highly recommend, but get your hands on a 1/2 NPT tap and clean up the threads BEFORE you try to hook it up.

Great filter for compressed air.
If you want clean and dry air this is a great filter to use. Mounting can be a little difficult but well worth the effort. I have used at least three of these and never had any issues with air tools or lack of air pressure of volume. Florida humidity is awful for air in the compressor so these are great filters to keep things clean.

THE BOSS!!!
Have used these for over 30 years. Mostly for painting. Works best if you change the toilet paper frequently while doing the job. it's the best compared to a regular filter in the air compressor. Would not use it as a full time filter do to the corrosion and toilet paper gets moldy. I plug it inline with the hose only when doing a job. When your done take it off clean it out and leave it open till next time. Never leave toilet paper or the supplied element in it when not being used. Like I said these work great but not for permanent water/dirt filter for your air supply. The supplied elements are good. Take them out and set them some where and let them dry out they will last for years. They are fabric so they will dry rot eventually. Toilet paper works great. They do saturate quickly with water so when painting overtime you stop to refill your paint gun throw another roll in it for best results. Depending on your location you will get a feel how often you need to replace the roll. If you treat this right and don't be lazy it will last a lifetime. For painting there is not anything out there to beat it for the results you will get.
