A United Kingdom size 5 is not the same as a United States size 5.  Go to the YunPeng shoes page, scroll down to find Product Description where you can see those sizes and the Metric size listed.  Chinese shoes are made in Metric sizes.  Better yet, correct foot measurement is important here and what you need is the distance between the foremost tips of your toes and the back-most tip of your heel which is usually about an inch or so above the floor.

There are two different kinds of YunPeng shoes listed here, Black A and Black Y, and I am familiar with only the Black Y shoes, the ones with no elastic in their upper section.  Otherwise, scroll down further on the YunPeng shoes page and look for Product Description, where it shows that a United Kingdom size 6 and a United States size 7 are the same as a Metric size 39, meaning 39 centimeters and Chinese shoes are made in Metric sizes.  However, it would be better for you to correctly measure your feet, to know your Metric size.  For instance, the Black Y shoes I wear have no elastic on them to help keep the shoes snugly fit on my feet, so an accurate foot measurement is important for that reason.  What you need is the distance between the forward tip of your toes and the back-most point of your heel which is usually about an inch or so higher than the floor.  Accurate measurement will produce shoes which fit just a little snugly on your feet.  These shoes are very flexible, almost like walking barefoot.  And the back heel section can be folded forward and down to then slide the shoes on and wear them like slippers, for indoor use.
