Bought these to protect our twin bedside cabinets so we could put drinks on them but protect the wood surfaces from spills and scratches. They look really nice,are a soft beige colour and have a slight texture of hession with a hint of gold sparkle.Quite thick and totally waterproof so no damage or scratches to wood surfaces. Good choice of sizes/shapes. Mats look really classy, don't look plastic look like material but are very practical/wipe clean. Bought extra mats as placemats for dinning table and as gift for a friend who had admired them and had same idea to protect her tables. Nice quality, look good,very practical and protect bedside units and oak dinning table. Also use one on my tea tray so no slippy surface when carrying drinks.

These mats are amazing! They are just the right size and fit my very large plates (30cm) easily so approved! They do come folded so o had to bend them the opposite way and also put a few heavy books, candles on them to ensure they played flat. Overnight did the job. Attractive and easy to clean if there are any spills. The mats hold the plates firmly in place - which is what I think they mean by no slip. The mats seem pretty well made and I am hoping they last a while before I need to change them.

The mats look nice on the table and are easy to clean after meals. The material feels okay but not very premium and they can slide slightly on smooth surfaces. Overall a reasonable option for daily use but not the most durable choice.

Love these the price was reasonable for 6 place mats a good size for those dinner plates i find them easy to wipe down yes they are quite thin but still do a great job .. i purchased dark grey and they are perfect for my table they look much more expensive than they are i would recommend and i would buy again ...

I bought these table mats in green – they look great on our garden table and I’ve been really pleased with them so far – and for the price, I think they’re really good value. They’re simple but well-made, and I like that the design is quite clean and works with different setups. The texture and finish give them a nice look - they feel like good quality straight away. Cleaning is super easy – a quick wipe is usually enough – and they dry fast too. They’ve held up well to hot plates and mugs without any marks, which is reassuring. Good colour (coffee) and heat proof, but they do slip around on a polished oak table. If I had seen them in a store I wouldn't have bought them as they do look what they are I e. cheap.

As placemats go, they're exactly what you'd expect - a placemat to put plates on. In that regard, it's absolutely fine. They look good, they're clearly durable, and easy to clean. However, I bought these over another option because they say they're "non-slip". Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought that this would also mean on the surface they're resting on. If they're capable of holding a glass in place on a surface that is angled (like the drawing in the information manual implies), then I'd expect that the mat itself wouldn't move easily on the surface either. There's no resistance worth mentioning when moving the placemats.

Hopefully this is a helpful review for anyone interested in this type of placemat. I ordered the color Caramel and it's just what I was looking for; I like the washable factor (grandchildren) and the color was exactly what I wanted, not too brown, not too gray or black, rather a more neutral mix of these colors. They are a gray/brown overall color. You see some lighter brown, but it is not the predominant color. There is also a white/cream thread running through the woven design that looks good with white or cream, maybe a bit better for cream, but I tried both and both work. They are thin, but seem plenty sturdy enough, remains to be seen how well they hold up, but for the price, not a concern. I'm interested in Chilewhich ($$$$) but wanted to give something less expensive a try first. These are worth it, I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the color looks and the quality seems good too. We use these for the drawers under our woodstoves. Super strong and easy to clean. A++++
