I like that I can exfoliate as well as suction my pores and oils for maximum penetration of my anti-aging serums and retiniods. I own 2 of these. I purchased a cheap suction machine a week ago which did not include the microdermabraision tips, so I invested in this machine that includes 2 microderm tips and 2 suction tips, filters, a serum, free coupons, excellent packaging and a cleaning brush and mesh baggy. I love that I have both machines in case one gives out. Because I have tough skin, I am able to suction my pores with either machine morning and night. I have not had any bruising or lasting redness - and I have had almost zero oiliness to produce during the day. I love this machine! I have only used the dermabraision tip 1x since getting this 3 days ago. I plan to microderm 2x per week on Sunday and Wed. I saw an instant difference when I mircrodermed the first time! Skin is super smooth feeling.The suction power is amaze. My cheaper pore vacuum has pretty strong suction and has a 450ma battery. The Microderm GLO mini has a stronger battery at 500ma and the suction power on Low, feels like the high power 9n my cheaper one. You have to change the filter each time but it comes with a lot of filters and offers another free bag of filters with a QR code inside the box. I used this on my husbands razor bumps on his neck and I used it on his face and the difference was immediate, even he noticed! Machine has two speeds and is super easy to use and super easy to change the tip of the machine and easy change of the filter. If the tip vibrated just slightly - providing just enough friction to really lift off dead skin cells - it would be far more effective. As it is - it depends on the pressure you apply - and is basically as effective as rubbing your skin with a fingernail file (just as a crude example). Other than this one suggestion, I would say it is an excellent abrasion device that does what it states - and that is to lift dead skin cells, with slight suctioning. It DOES leave my skin extremely soft - and clean feeling. The suctioning isn't perfect - you do have to go over your face with a wash cloth to remove skin that was left behind - but - I still recommend this product as a great alternative to an expensive salon visit.
