Fifty Fashion Looks that Changed the 1950's

Anyone who loves clothes, fashion, or wants to look vintage will enjoy this book. It’s amazing how many people influenced the fashion of the decade. I have only one complaint and that is it was Marlene Dietrich in the film Stage Fright, not Greta Garbo. Classic Film lovers will understand why I feel it’s important. It’s definitely a worthwhile read.

I'm seriously inspried by the 1960s, and TWIGGY. This book is absolutely marvelous--a fantastic find, and a fantastic buy. My cover sleeve had a tiny tear in it, but I bought it used, so it was to be expected.

Lovely little book with great photos from the age of elegance. Hard cover, nice paper. A nice gft to a fashion lover.

I was hoping for more - every other page is a full-page photo, but they're often grainy or just not very well framed. If you want to revel in amazing fifties fashion photos, this isn't the book you need.

Didn't have quite as many pictures in it as I had expected, but otherwise, excellent information regarding iconic fashions of the 50's.

Fifty Fashion Looks that Changed the 1950's is a must have for those of us who study fashion history and create costumes or modern clothing reminiscent of the bygone eras.

Happy with the product it arrived on time and in great condition. This book is my second one from this series "fifty fashion looks..." it's a good read with lovely photos.

A tous les nostalgiques des tenues des années 50, ce livre est pour vous !! Entre la classe des robes bustiers, des tailleurs très cintrés ou des robes amples rockabilly, tout y est. Il y avait définitivement quelque chose de très chic et une certaine classe dans ces années qui manque cruellement à notre époque. Le livre en lui-même est fait de la façon suivante : une page d'écriture (en anglais) d'un côté et une photo pleine page de l'autre. Le format est moyen (10X20cm environ). Je suis ravie de mon achat.

This is one of the set that is available to download that matches the fashion for the year,this i first looked at and loved so downloaded the others,i love looking back at fashion and how it has influenced change,this gives you a nice amount of information and how a star made it their look and because of that how it has influenced the fashion looks over the years,really interesting read well worth the download.
