I have no idea why there are negative reviews here. The package arrived today and I installed this door lock on my front door and it is working perfectly. I ordered this because I had a Schlage door lock of unknown year that was no longer usable due to the battery terminals melted and couldn't find the replacement parts. In the US where almost everyone uses Schlage door locks, I was looking for a unique one that is a little more secure from thieves and until I found this product. Surprisingly, I never knew that Samsung makes door locks! Door lock installation is explained in more detail on YouTube than in the paper manual, so it will be much more helpful to install it while watching the video. I am very satisfied with the gorgeous & high quality design of the door lock compared to the typical ones in the market. Another great point about this product is that it is made in Korea! Since Koreans are good at making phones, home appliances, tires and cars, quality is guaranteed. I highly recommend this product.

A beautiful doorlock and loved using Samsung digital locks in Korea. However, after installation the keypad does not function nor light up. Thank God I have the key version. Now I'm stuck using a manual key on a digital keyless doorlock. The instructions were followed and even watched the YouTube set up 3x. Customer service is aloof and no response either by email or phone. Website says call center is 24 hours and then the specific dept is only on certain hours. Overall, very nice looking on the outside, inside is full of trouble and unknown. Go Samsung!
