Not a good machine
I used the first time on tri-tips. Did it on 130 for 3 hrs, meat was rare which I wanted. 2nd time using it I had 2 thick rib eyes, set temp at 134 for 3 hours. As soon as temp 100 was reached, machine turned completely off. I reset it and same thing happened. I tested it again, same settings, as soon as water reached 100. It turned itself off again. I am retuning it and will buy a more expensive one.

Good Unit but Inaccurate Temperature Gauge/setting.
I have owned 5 or 6 inexpensive Sous Vide units in the past. I have made my own (which has lasted the longest). I have also purchased a couple of expensive units. I say this to express that I have a lot of Sous Vide cooking and unit experience. All of my inexpensive and expensive units have died at some point or the other. None have been misused. They have worn out. Some quicker than others. This is the first Mazonia unit I have purchased. I purchased it because of it’s very low price. It seems to to good with one MAJOR EXCEPTION: The temperature gauge is ~10 F off. If I want ~134f then I have to set the unit to 124f. Once done it seems to hold its temperature for significant periods of time. My longest sous vide in the Mazonia has been 80 hours. If not for this glaring issues, which cost me a few Chuck Steaks until I figured it out, I would rate the unit much higher.

so easy and so yummy
I cooked a pork tenderloin at 135 for 2 hours and then torched it. Oh. My. Goodness. Ridiculously juicy and tender it was like eating a lean prime rib. I will readily admit I suck as a cook and I'm too busy to care about learning how to be better. But if I can cook meat this delicious with so little effort and know how, it's a no brainer that I will use this to cook ALL my meat.

20 degrees low
Runs 20 degrees lower than what you set it for, junk, do not buy.

Perfect product for perfect price
No meed for expensive products, these do the job just fine if not excellent. I had my sous vide unplugged after use for roughly 4 hours and the temp remained almost unchanged... so yes they keep the temp and water level very consistent

NEW to Sous Vide
So far i have used it 4 times and each time it worked great double check temps with thermometer and so far everything is dead on. This is my first time owning anything like this and so far the only complication is knowing how rare i want my steaks...My cooking learning curve with a new device.

Excellent heat retention
These make a huge difference on heat retention. They work as intended. The only real pain with them is collecting them once you're done cooking, but that's unavoidable. If you need precision near boiling temperatures these are a must.
