This light is high quality and works perfect for our small painting. It completely changes the view of the painting with the light highlights. Perfect for a dim room and for highlighting painting colors. We like how easy it is to turn the light on and off so if we leave the house, we can quickly turn off.

Smaller than I thought....but that's a good thing. Fits on my oil paintings just right. Very high quality. Much better than I expected. I immediately ordered a second one!

Have had for a year and a half. Great, so far. Well built, looks stylish, is compact, lightweight and has different light intensities. Easily just sits atop the frame. I am 6’-2”, so turning on or off is easy. If you are shorter you would need a step stool to reach. Would have been great with a remote but I understand that the current technology is such that those with remote have a constant minimal battery drain, so the need to recharge is more frequent. Mine tends to last about a little over a week before needing to recharge. It is pricey but well worth the money. Highly recommend.

A true 5 Star product. Beautiful modern slim line design. Multiple light options and best of all no assembly required. Just open box and display your art. Very highly recommended.

WOW! Just what I desired - well made, three light settings and it's portable. I could not be more pleased. Once you spend the money on beautiful art why skimp on the lighting. In for a penny in for a pound! This is well worth the investment - I ordered a second one.

An absolutely wonderful product. The design is stunning and minimalistic and accentuates the artwork to perfection. I have purchased two of the single light and am preparing to get the two light version for a larger painting soon. Extremely happy with my purchase.

Update 06/09/2025: Difficulties with older version but likely to purchase replacements because they work in my peculiar situation. First purchases of fifteen of the mini lights were 5 1/2 and 6 years ago. I added four of the new version at the beginning of 2023. Of the originals, several have reached the point of not accepting a charge and those chargeable are lasting six to ten hours. The new version lights from 2023 are still going strong and have held a charge without use for a substantial period of time, much better than the earlier model. I'm torn over whether to replace the older units, but installing good powered lamps and associated electrical outlets and tracks in multiple rooms is "decoratively" impractical in my case.Update 12/29/2022: I will soon purchase several more. I have 15 of these lights and continue to enjoy them. While I have just had the first failure, the remaining lights seem to be working well and batteries holding a charge through 35 hours of use. This is a home application and I most often only turn them on when we have company so have no idea what their life span would be in a daily application.Original review from 2019: I enjoy printing and mounting photographs in my home. A successful lighting solution needed to have accurate color rendition. With very high ceilings that make focusing light impractical and to avoid extending electricity to each photo, I tried the Situ lights five months ago. I have since followed up with multiple additional purchases from Amazon and direct from the mfr of both the 8" and 11" lights. I am well satisfied.I chose 8" lights in hallway installations, and the 11" unit when more separation was available between picture and viewer. While the 8" gives less spread than the 11", I am satisfied with the spread of both on the 13x19" images attached.Using a wire to hang the pictures is critical to give enough space to hang the battery unit. Simple pin and hook connections tend not to allow enough space - you need to come out about 7/8" from the wall. Removal for recharging is very simple. The auto-off after 5 hours has worked well for me as usage is typically only in the evening.To avoid a reflection of the source light, it must be hung lower than might be typical. The third image attached shows the highest picture with the light fixture 17" above my eye level. From 30" away the reflection is on the top mat. I haven't found it to be a distraction.

Edit: Spoke with company and turns out there is an auto shut off feature after several hours to “save battery life”. Have to turn it back on. So battery life isn’t as short as I expected. Upped to four stars. Would be five if you had the option to turn this feature off. The flashing when it activates this feature is annoying and don’t like that I have to turn it back on in the middle of a part or cozy night.Purchased this light because I wanted a modern picture light without cords. I have very similar looking lights from another company that are only $40, but they have cords which are hard to hide and a pain. Thought this was extremely expensive for the only major difference being cordless...and I was right. I only get about four hours of light out of a full charge and then it blinks off. This happens even on the dimmer settings. If I had paid $40 I'd shrug and figure I was getting what I paid for, but this came to $300 with shipping. For that it should do a whole lot more in my opinion.
