Turns out, it works!
I had a problem right off the start. It's a USB 3.1 hub, with room for 3 plugs, that can be plugged into... WHAT? I don't have no tiny oval plugs to plug into my computer, or any other standard old fashion USB plugs. I finally tracked down an adapter that fixed it so I could plug it into another USB hub, and then my computer. ended up being a waste. transfer speeds were absolute garbage
intended to mount this to the underside of my desk with a usb 3.1 type c extension cable. ended up being a waste. transfer speeds were absolute garbage. normally my usb 3.0 flash drive does 180 read 90 write. on this hub it did 45 read and write. and that is both with and without the usb 3.1 type c extension cable from the back of the mobo.only plus side is that if felt like a quality product. had sturdy construction and good amount of heft to it.promptly refunded the product.

Excellent port expander
Nice unit, added 3 usb 3.0 ports as well as SD and Micro SD reader/writer on front of pc while using 1 of the 3.1 ports on the rear of my pc. A little velcro and placed in covenant place on pc. The Hapurs USB 3.1 Type C Male had to have adapter to my 3.1 port on pc and it works exceptionally well for my needs. I like it and recommend it and have far better access to 3.0 ports.

Not a hub by any means and on top the on/off toggle button is useless.
The product did not worked as anytime you connect two devices to hub , it stops recognizing the devices.Only one device can be connected at one time .Not a hub by any means and on top the on/off toggle button is useless.

Worked great... for about three weeks. Then died. Not at all impressed with the reliability of the unit I purchased.

USB2 Performance
This was alright, I thought it would offer USB3 speeds but I didn't get them with my mini £200 11" HP Laptop (even though it is supposed to be USB3) - I just got normal USB2 speeds of 20 / 30mbps.It is feasible that could have been down to the laptops Motherboard though.Handy though no doubt - with the included SD card and Micro SD card slot - it helps expand the narrow amount of connections on my laptop.

Great quality adapter
Great quality adapter. Larger than I thought, but does the job well. Opted for this over a similarly priced 4 port hub because of the card slots. Would be a killer product if it had a USB-C female port too for charging!EDIT: A few months on, I've had to drop this from 5 stars to 3. It's not USB 3 speeds and I find it disconnects my devices if I have multiple plugged in
