I have had this same mug for a long time it has held up like iron and works great, no it doesn’t fit in the car cup holder but it retains heat very well as long as you keep the lid on the lid could use some improvements but it works and I also like the ceramic lining it has faded a little bit but still looks good.

I highly recommend this mug. I have owned it for 2 years and expect it to last forever. I like my coffee piping hot. OK fine, like the family says, boiling hot. This is ceramic mug is perfect. I like how my hand fits in the curved handle - I have been through a few mugs, turns out my arthritic hands don't like the rectangle handles. I like that the edge of the mug is very thin and fits my lips for pleasant sipping. The ceramic coating makes it easy to wipe out the stains. It comes in variety of colors; I chose the color of the Rocinante mugs :-). The plastic lid with rubber guard is sufficient and effective but it is not meant to be spill-proof. With the lid on, my drink stays hot for a couple of hours. With the lid off its about 35 minutes, enough to finish before it gets lukewarm. Some have noted the sliding part of lid gets loose. This is not a deal breaker because I sip with the lid off. And if you are careful when rinsing the lid it will not get loose. Avoid taking the sliding part of lid apart too much otherwise the tiny gasket will get lost which causes it to become "loose". This is not a travel mug per se - it will not fit in a car cup holder unless you have very wide cup holders and a open notch near the bottom for the cup handle, however it fits in my Toyota Tundra cup holders with that middle insert removed. I have dropped this numerous times (note arthritic hands) and no chips or dents! Good quality and fit for purpose!

This is exactly what I was looking for in a travel/daily mug - I hate the flavor stainless steel adds so I was super happy to find this ceramic lined mug. It works great, tastes great, and keeps the coffee pretty warm. As others have noted, the weak point is definitely the lid. It's impossible to get it completely clean under all the little sliding parts, so it ends up stained brown after just a few uses. Then there's the sliding top cover... it functions solely on a single little piece of rubber underneath, and when that fails (it will) the lid won't stay in the position you want. So it opens on its own when you need it closed to prevent spilling, and it closes on you while you want it open to drink from. It's terrible. The don't sell their replacement lids here on Amazon for some bizarre reason - they sell them on their own website for $5....... plus $10 shipping. Yes, you read that correctly, they charge TEN DOLLARS to ship a tiny plastic lid bringing the total to $15 just to replace the lid that THEY designed poorly smh. One other small issue is that you cannot microwave the mug because of the metal on the bottom. Might not be a big deal to most people, but it's an annoyance for me sometimes. If I don't drink the coffee fast enough and it starts to cool, since I use a Keurig machine I don't have a pot of coffee sitting there I can use to "warm up" the coffee in the mug, and I can't warm it up in the microwave. So I just drink it at whatever temperature it's at. Overall, I do like this mug. I would love it if they figured out another solution for the lid. Or at least sell them on their Amazon store so I don't have to pay that ridiculous amount for shipping, I would absolutely buy one for $5 on Prime.

I recently tried out the asobu Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee Mug, and overall, I have to say that it's a decent option. The mug seems to be of good quality, and it does a pretty good job of keeping the heat of my coffee for a decent amount of time - though I do wish it could keep it hot for longer. The ceramic inside is a bit of a gimmick, in my opinion, but it does make it slightly easier to clean. However, the lid itself leaves a bit more to be desired. It tends to leak, and the sliding door doesn't seal perfectly, which can be a bit of a hassle. Additionally, it doesn't seem to stay shut on its own very well, so you have to be careful when transporting it. All in all, I would give the asobu Stainless Steel Insulated Coffee Mug 3 stars. While it's not perfect, it's still a decent option if you're looking for a portable coffee mug that can keep your coffee hot for a decent amount of time. Oh, one more thing the mug doesn't fit in my car cup holder, so if you're looking for a mug that you can use comfortably in your car, this might not be the best option for you.

Very nice looking mug. And it arrived in pristine condition with no scratches or dents. Seems well made, perhaps not quite as rugged as the Yeti, but sturdy. The slider top works well, and the slider itself is easily removed for thorough cleaning of the lid. It is not leak proof, and the company doesn't claim that it is. But the slider top when closed doesn't allow splashing and spilling when I'm walking about. So far I've had no problem with the slider getting loose and not staying in place. I'll update my review if this happens. The rounded handle is comfortable, though I slightly prefer the more square shape of the handle on the same size Yeti mug. The stand out feature is the ceramic coating inside. It looks great, and seems to clean up nicely with a soft bottle brush. Stains come right off. So it stays looking great - so far anyway. And it certainly is taste neutral, though I personally don't have a problem with uncoated food grade stainless steel. After three months, I still really like this mug. But be careful! There is a tiny rubberized gasket on a short column on the top of the lid. This gasket keeps the slider in place - open or closed. When you push the slider off from the bottom, there is a small chance that the gasket will fall out. I suggest removing the gasket while cleaning. Losing the gasket explains the trouble people have with loose sliders.

I wasn’t going to review this but now I have to. This afternoon I ran over this mug with the driver side back tires of my RAV4 by accident and it survived! The lid is a little more snug now but by some miracle, I can still sip coffee from it tomorrow lol! I bought this mug because my dark coffee taste metallic in all my metal tumblers. I liked this idea of ceramic inside and I can definitely taste a difference. It’s better. It keeps my coffee hot/warm from 8am to about 11am. The only down side is, it doesn’t fit in my cup holder in the car so I have to hold it. It isn’t spill proof but does ok so long as you aren’t crazy. In all, I liked this mug before, but now it’s really awesome after being run over by the car lol!

Although not entirely leak proof these are great mugs and the ceramic lining makes for a great taste. They stay really hot for much longer than any other insulated mug I've had. They really behave like a flask

He buscado una taza para mi café de cerámica, esta tiene el interior color crema pero no creo sea cerámica o es una capa muy pero muy delgada. Realmente no es lo que yo buscaba porque siento si sabe a metal un poco el café, pero no le doy mala calificación porque la taza en sí está muy bien hecha y de material resistente en el exterior, lo único que veo es una tapa frágil que no contiene por completo mi café en caso de mucho movimiento, si llega a derramar.

Keeps drinks warm but copper base split with minimal use and only way "according to the seller" is to send it back to the manufacturer (unknown) or back to them and they will forward it on for repair- all at my expense. That's daft, no one will repair it and an obvious ploy to avoid replacement which any reasonable comnpany would do. So -1 star on quality and -1 on supplier.

Après plusieurs achats différents celle-ci s'avère être l'idéale. Elle conserve le café extrêmement chaud durant bien plus qu'une heure, c'est super pour avoir le temps de lire tout son journal de nouvelles ou de lire plusieurs chapitres d'une bon livre ou encore de répondre à tous ses messages ou mieux le temps d'un épisode de série télé et c'est toujours le même bon café chaud. Ce n'est pas un thermo de voyage et je ne crois pas que cette tasse élégante a été conçue pour la route, c'est plutôt la compagne sans défaut des matins patio tranquille pour ceux qui aiment prendre leur temps pour siroter longuement son breuvage qui gardera la bonne température. Je ne l'emploi que pour le chaud , mais le froid doit être de même efficacité ( ce n'est qu'une supposition...)
