**Q: Is this the same as the epsom salt used for bath purposes?**
A: Pennington Epsom Salt is for use with plants only, not in a bath.

**Q: Hi can this be added to top soil in planters instead of mixing it with water?**
A: I used a broad spreader on existing lawn with poor PH.  You can mix it.

**Q: can you bath in this product, as well. I accidentally ordered it instead of my favorite kind of Epsom salt. ooops**
A: It is Epsom Salts, like any Epson Salts, and I have also bathed in Epson Salts at times for various ailments. I ordered this for my vegetables because of its convenient size and packaging, and probably paid a premium for that.

**Q: Is it just 100% natural salt, no other hidden ingredients?**
A: The ingredients are listed as Magnesium - 9.8% Sulfur - 12.9%.  The other 77.3% are inert ingredients that are not disclosed.

A good price but it was in lumps. I tried banging the bag on the concrete to get rid of the hard clumps inside but ended up having to deal with large, rock hard, snowball size lumps of Epson Salt. Try to get those to return to granules, I rubbed them on each other, but only if you are dissolving in water would it be worth the bother.
