For some reason, whenever I go to the salon in the US to have my hair straightened, it never turns out as straight as it used to in Brazilian salons. After getting tired of paying $$$ for straightening treatments that weren’t satisfactory, I decided to give this product a try. My hair is very curly. This product made it, although still curly, a LOT easier to blow dry or to straighten with the flat iron. Just like when I go to the salons in the US. The difference is that I pay $30 instead of $200+!!! It does have a little bit of smell, like any straightening hair product, but it doesn’t have the strong fumes that cause burn sensation in the eyes. I did wear a mask, goggles and a fan when applying it, thought. And I recommend everyone to do the same. As soon as I finished the the application, after the flat iron, my hair looked good, but felt weird. Maybe I kept more product on my hair than I should have. But after I washed and hydrated it the following day, it went back to normal. The bottle is quite small and, since I have a LOT of hair, I didn’t have enough for the entire hair, so I picked the most problematic areas to use it. Also, I had already done a Brazilian Blowout before and only applied the product on the roots. However, the roots were very long, because it had been a year since I did the Brazilian Blowout. Bottom line: buy 2 bottles or more if you have a lot of hair or if you have long hair and plan to apply the product throughout.

I am very pleased with this product. I was very scared at first since Keratin is not a friend of my hair for some reason, but I am so glad I bought this. I did loose a little hair in the process but nothing alarming. This is what I was just looking for. My hair is very shiny, soft and manageble. This is what I exactly was looking for and I recommend this product to anyone looking for a deep condition . Note: I didn't do the flat iron to prevent damage, I wasn't looking to get my curls out 100 % just was looking for a healthy hair look and this did the trick. Thank you so much. Some people saying that it didn't work it's probably because they didn't follow directions. I did what the directions said and it work. First time hair will feel a little tift until you wash all the product out, I waited 4 days to take it out instead of 3 since I didn't use not even glove on my hands I didn't feel it could harm it and it didn't. ( I did this because I didn't have the time on the 3rd day) all work good. I am a very happy customer and I will be buying again for me and my daughter and will recommend to friends as well. After reading the reviews, I decided to try this product and see for myself. By the way, I am biracial with black/white so have the typical frizzy/curly, “mixed girl” hair. The application was much easier than I anticipated. There’s basically just a few simple steps… apply and wait, rinse half out, blow dry then straighten. I got salon results and was impressed with the outcome. It too the fizziness out of my hair and my hair was so much more manageable and shiny. I put it in a little over a month ago and as time has passed and now washing my hair multiple times, the effectiveness of it is going away. It’s not completely back to the way it was but my curls and the fizziness are back. It still doesn’t take long to flat iron and when I do flat iron, it looks great. I do still have that lingering “smell” that you typically get after keratin treatment but it has gotten better as time goes on. I would definitely buy this product again. I would much rather buy this and spend $25 than spending hundreds of $$ at the salon.

As someone who has done similar treatments at home, this one took way too long, the instructions were unclear and I was really disappointed by the results because nothing change and it was even harder to detangle the hair. Also the advertisements are misleading and far from truth.

Listen up. Forget the straightening, it does that yes in spades but let talk about hair health. I have curly wavy hair that is dry and damaged from years of henna. I had tried almost everything out there to help my hair. I was having breakage with just brushing. I went curly girl method and while that improved some dryness it did not improve condition. Enter Amazonliss: Turns out, my hair needed keratin like all get out. One treatment and my hair is smooth like silk, healthy and I can go 7 days without washing. I noticed the difference when I was blow drying, my hair is no longer breaking. I can comb my hair without breakage. It's a Godsend. Let's talk about straightening : So I have curly , wavy hair that was dry and frizzy mess and it is now gone straight and healthy . Like my hair said, "finally, I know what to do with myself now." It's straight, wet, right out of the shower. I'm basically blow drying to save time and not walk around with wet hair all day but it's still straight. I plan to do this 4 times a year , perhaps more when needed because for me, it's about having healthy hair and giving my hair what it needs. It needed keratin. Badly. So, if you have dry, frizzy, unruly hair and have tried everything else. Try this, it may save your hair. And, for the price, it's unbeatable.

This works, it does help straighten your hair and eliminate frizz. There also isn’t a strong smell. However, this did destroy my ends. I’m going to have to get my hair cut. I’ve done keratin straightening in the past that didn’t really damage my hair, but this one did. I do have very thin hair. I followed all of the instructions properly and didn’t even use the whole bottle.

So yes! I can get Brazilian blowout or keratin complex or any brand that salons used since I’m a stylist. But i didn’t want to invest soo much in a bulk bottle just for my own use. So i turned to amazon and wanted some easy quick before my Mexico trip and budget friendly . I’m particular about ingredients and sulfate and etc. but when i used this my hair turned out smooth straight and after every wash blow drying is so much easier! Also feel like it brought back life to my dry hair (I’m a curly wavy Indian type hair girl) Only thing i would say is don’t saturate so much especially in the ends. My hair tends to get knots and tangled because i think i put too much mid length - to the end. Overall! No frizz gives you shine, follow instructions if your confused i emailed them they replied next day Don’t wing it don’t be a smart ass, do it right! :) Happy smoothing! (Make sure you apply in small sections with a brush that’s how it worked best for me . and straighten in small thin sections. )

If you look at the photos one is my curly hair after blow drying it and the other is after letting my hair air dry after completing the process. It definitely has made it more straight but definitely still have some wave to my hair where my hair is usually the most curly. I will say I washed my hair after and while my hair is wet has the most horrific dead animal smell that I cannot get rid of anytime it gets wet. Hopefully that smell does not last long! Also all the other reviews said it made their hair smooth and soft and my hair is sooo dried out compared to normal. It also made my hair turn orangeish which really sucks because I have to wait 3 weeks to fix that. All in all it straightened some but not as well as I was expecting and the other cons with the color and texture it created I would not recommend doing it nor would I do it again. It also took me about 3 hours for entire process.

I have thick wavy hair and wanted it completely straightened’ this product helped a bit ‘ but didn’t straighten it as I thought it would ‘ I have used 1.5 bottles over a 7 day period and my hair still remains wavy ‘ but not as wavy as it normally is ‘ I thought it would straighten my hair completely? So I am disappointed as it’s not cheap to buy ‘

I like that my hair is so much more manageable now. Wash it, dry with the blower and my hair is done! It takes so much less time to blow dry now. I have super thick hair, it usually takes a lot of time to get my hair done, now it doesn’t. My hair was really dry after the treatment last week, i didn’t find my hair was “soft”, as others users stated, however I used my regular conditioner the last couple washes and my hair feels great. It’s definitely a time saver. I have bangs, I used it in my bangs too, they’re much more controlled, just a quick minute with the straightener and they’re perfect! I would use this product again
