DESTRUCT USB Gadget - Military Grade Hard Drive Wiper - Permanently Erase All Data on PC and Laptops Before Selling

Saw this on a youtube channel and thought wth why not. tested it and man not sure why folks were having issues booting from USB or didnt know how to enable it in their bios. This thing works great and it is pretty quick at doing a full wipe on a machine especially a gov level wipe. So far pretty impressed and got a few more laptops to use this awesome device on and start building them out again.

I don't know if this key was corrupt but I spent hours over three days trying to get it to work with no luck. I tried everything I could think of and tried to find help online, but there isn't much. I ended up removing the HDD and physically destroying it.

Outstanding! I do not normally right review, but I had to do so. This program is cleaning my desktop as I watch. I was hesitant to just take the PC to the recycling center. Bet that it works better than Bleachbit! 🤓

Had ro turn in a work computer. Company files were backed up on the system. As an auditor, there were a lot of extra files and data that needed to be deleted that were sensitive. This did the trick. Now the bored IT staff have less to do to ensure that the next user did not get files they don't need to see.

Great! It works well to erase or wipe Hard Drives, Solid state drives.

I have been wanting to get rid of my old laptops but didn't know how to wipe the hard drive, so the old machines kept accumulating. The Destruct Pro worked on my 32-bit Sony Viao laptop that had Vista on it in about 3.5 hours (wiped 149 GB), my Sony Viao running Windows 7 took about 16 hours (wiped 596.2 GB) and my HP Pavilion running Win 10 took 9 hours to wipe clean (931.5 GB). I am a NOVICE at things like this and had to use the internet to figure out which machine used what F-key to access the BIOS. I then figured out how to re-order the boot drive on each machine (it is described to the right on your screen). My HP running Win 10 was the most difficult to get into the BIOS, which surprised me as it was the newest machine. After wiping each one clean, I double-checked by turning my laptop on and seeing "Operating System Not Found". While I beat my head on the wall alot the last 3 days, I am so pleased I got this device to work and now I can take my laptops to the recycler without worrying about someone seeing my personal information on the machine. I do recommend this product, but just know it is not plug and play easy - it takes a bit of work to use but it worth it in the end.

Works fine on HDD hard drive. Have not tested on SSD hard drive. Unfortunately, it did not detect my emmc which is technically not a hard drive.

After repeated attempts, my PC would not reboot from the Destruct Pro USB device. While this might have been user error, I have worked in information technology for 30+ years, so I don't believe this was the case. I would recommend choosing another product if you want to erase your hard drive.
