Universal 7 Gallon Generator Fuel Tank Valve Chrome Cap Fits 25.5 Liters from US

The kit was complete with all hardware. I did use my original bolts due to larger frame around the generator. It was an exact match, key was to get all bolts started then tighten up... the way you should do it any how. Paint on the tank was a just little sloppy, but its not being entered in a car show. Fuel valve worked well, no leaks after install, test run and sit for 2 weeks. Hope I don't have to, but I'd buy it again. For reference my 6500W generator is a generic brand.

I replaced the fuel tank on my generator when this one arrived, after inspection everything seem to be ok. Nothing out of the normal no hugh bends or anything in the edges. Came with everything you see in the picture. Installed it after removing the old tank. I do with it came with better securings on the corners, tank came with rubber grommets which I can see won't last long, if the generator is to be stored outside.

While this tank was inexpensive, and delivery was SLOW! There were two other issues that were problematic. I understand that this is a universal fuel tank. In order to use it for my generator I'll have to modify my 7000 watt generator frame to take this tank by welding on four mounting tabs.The fuel tank dimensions work well within the parameters of my generator frame. I anticipated some fabrication to make it work for my 7000 watt generator. However, what bothered me the most was the paint inside the fuel gauge mounting fastener holes. I had to re-tap these screw fastener holes to clear the paint so that the supplied screw fasteners would work to mount the fuel gauge.But other than these minor issues, this fuel tank will work for my purposes. The quality of the metal used is a good one, as well as the red paint quality with no cosmetic flaws.
