Nifty Knit Dishcloths Kindle Edition

Update: I found this book in a craft store. It was exactly like the one pictured here, complete with proper labeling of pictures and patterns. The book I received was not the same as this one - it had a different cover and no labels, although the patterns are the same. Mine was probably a different edition of the same book. No problem - I just labeled my book correctly and now I can see what I'm doing!Good selection of patterns with clear instructions. Some patterns are the same as in Kitchen Bright Dishcloths (#3824). However, unlike that book, Nifty Knit Dishcloths does not label the dishcloth pictures according to pattern. The pics are nice, detailed, clear - but you have to figure out which one goes with which pattern. Pick a picture, try to figure out the pattern that goes with it, and you may or may not end up with the one you want. Most of the patterns are somewhat more complex than those in the Kitchen Bright Dishcloths, so beginning knitters may want to choose a different book.

I've made three dishcloths out of this book. All have turned out great! I would recommend splurging and getting the printed book; I viewed the Kindle version and it is rather hard to see the pics and I'd rather be able to place some kind of sticky note telling me where I am in the pattern. The patterns are great for beginners and experienced knitters alike. When there is a "new" or different stitch it gives you pictured and written directions so you're never questioning how to knit the pattern. Can't wait to try the rest of the patterns in the book!

My copy did have the dishcloths shown on the cover numbered. Good selection. Most are knitting up way bigger than they need to be and several styles have big "holes" in the design that make them impractical.

The item was a paper edition of instructions, no photos just a couple of pages of instructions. Definitely not for a person fairly new at knitting.

Simple projects for gift giving. Patterns are explained well and are not complicated.

Have had to re-buy this book at least three because I kept loaning it out. Have made several of these for my kitchen and given many as gifts. All have been exclaimed over and used. Charming patterns, fun to make, quick to finish. Great way to practice new stitches. Finished products are attractive and durable!

I knit all of the dish cloths in this book. Patterns are varied and easy to follow. I learned some new stitches that I will incorperate in other knitting projects.

This is a 10 page booklet - excluding front and back covers, not a book. It's American (not a problem) but doesn't include a conversion chart for yarn weights so is totally unsuitable for a beginner. As an experienced knitter myself I would point any other beginners to LoveCrafts.com - there are plenty of free, downloadable, patterns there. I have tried to show how thin the booklet is in my photo, even that fails - sorry.

A very nice collection of washcloth patterns. Easy to follow. A nice two evening project per washcloth.

Simple patterns just what I was looking for. Each dish cloth has come up beautifully if knitted with the right type of yarn. It is really 'Nifty' as it proclaims.

I like this book as it has a variety of dishcloths for many abilities. I found it hard to choose which one to do first.
