Saved Me Post Fraxel Procedure
I have never been so impressed and appreciative of a product before. I had Fraxel laser done last Thursday. I was told to use Alastin Nectar $$$$ (which I did splurge for) and either Aquaphor or Elta MD Intense Moisturizer. I used all three. I was concerned because I had so much inflamation and redness, which is expected, but it seemed that the Aquaphor was intensifying the heat and redness on my right cheek. Elta MD was better but I wanted to try La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm, even though my doctor did not specify it. I knew it provided moderate occlusion and is supposed to help both redness and inflamation. So I ordered it and on day 3 post Fraxel, which was yesterday, I applied it. I felt relief within 10 minutes. It was as if my face calmed. No burning, no heat, no more inflamation. My cheek felt cooler. The hot pink new skin mellowed out to pink and things started to heal better. My skin almost feels like mine again. I know day 3 and 4 are the peeling days and as I gently dabbed and smoothed it on, those raw areas under the peeled off skin felt soothed. Within a few hours, the color faded and was not so intense. I also prefer the texture. It's not greasy and it still provides occlusion so the skin barrier is protected. If I ever do this again, I will definitely use this and I intend to tell my doctor about it. Both the Alastin Nectar and this saved me from panic. At this point, I will continue to use both these products for the next week or so until my skin is healed. Very impressed and thankful.

A Must-Have Repair Cream to Keep at Home — Perfect After Facial Treatments
This cream has become one of those products I always want to have at home because it works for so many different skin situations. The texture is rich, soothing, and very protective without feeling uncomfortable on the skin. I especially appreciate that it is fragrance-free, which makes it a great option for sensitive or irritated skin. It works beautifully for dry patches, skin irritation from weather changes, and areas that need extra care after over-exfoliation. One of my favorite things about this cream is that a little goes a very long way. A small amount is enough to cover the skin, and the tube lasted much longer than I expected. I also love using it after treatments that can leave my skin feeling more sensitive, such as facial device treatments, exfoliation, or after spending time in the sun. At night, I apply a thin layer, and in the morning my skin feels much more comfortable, hydrated, and restored. This is also gentle enough to use for my children’s dry or irritated skin, which makes it even more valuable to keep in our home. Overall, this is a versatile, reliable repair cream that I reach for whenever my skin needs extra protection and soothing care. It has become a true skincare essential in my routine.

Extremely Helpful for Dry, Irritated Skin but Personally Too Heavy for My Face
This is one of those products that I completely understand the hype around because it truly does work very well for dry, irritated, over-processed, or compromised skin areas. The texture is rich, soothing, and very protective without having a strong fragrance, which I appreciate because heavily scented skincare products usually irritate my skin immediately. I have found this especially helpful for dry patches, irritation from weather, over-exfoliation, and areas where the skin barrier simply feels stressed or uncomfortable. A very small amount goes a long way and the tube itself lasted much longer than I expected. That being said, for me personally this product is simply too heavy to use regularly on my face because I am somewhat breakout-prone with richer creams. While it feels incredibly soothing, I personally prefer using it more selectively on very dry or irritated areas rather than as an all-over facial moisturizer. The packaging arrived perfectly sealed with no leaking or damage during shipping and the product looked exactly as expected upon arrival. For the amount you receive and how little is needed per use, I also think the value is very good compared to many other barrier repair creams. Overall, I absolutely understand why so many people love this product and I do think it is excellent for repairing and protecting irritated skin — I just personally have to be careful about where and how heavily I apply it. #FoundItOnAmazon #AmazonFinds #Skincare #SkinBarrier #LaRochePosay #SensitiveSkin #DrySkin #BeautyFavorites #EverydaySkincare #FrenchPharmacy #SelfCare #LuxeLife

Holy grail for eczema on toddler
Holy grail. I want to tell everyone about this! my two year old has severe eczema down her legs. We have tried all of the creams, balms, lotions, butters, and steroid as last resort when her skin gets unbearably raw and itchy. In just three days of using this, I’ve seen 75% improvement in her skin. Soft, moisturized, smooth. Pricey but it’s worth it for us. If you have eczema, do give this a try. I do want to add I’ve added tallow balm on top of it as extra layer of moisture so idk if that’s also helping as a combo BUT on its own, tallow balm only had offered very mild improvement.

Deep hydration and incomparable softness
This cream has become an essential staple in my daily skincare routine. What I love most is its rich, dense texture, which provides immediate, deep nourishment—perfect for soothing the driest areas of the face and body. It leaves the skin incredibly soft and smooth, creating a comfortable protective barrier that keeps it feeling hydrated for hours. It is a truly gentle, fragrance-free product that offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an extra boost of moisture and a healthy-looking complexion.

Awesome for targeted areas
I recently started having an issue with the skin on my neck and upper chest going through stages of being really itchy, irritated, burning, scaly (perimenopause is no joke folks). Sometimes it's so bad I have to sit with an ice bag on it all day. I tried an oatmeal based gel moisturizer, but it burned when applied and the effects wore off within hours. This stuff is awesome, but know a few things. First, it's very, very thick. In fact, what it mostly is and will remind you of, is diaper rash cream. And actually, the instructions on the tube mention it being for diaper rash. I cannot fathom anyone using this for that purpose because of my main complaint----for the size of the tube you are getting, this is so ridiculously over-priced. I can see paying $14 for the larger sized tube. But $14 for 1.35oz of basically diaper rash cream is criminal. The only reason I will continue to buy this is because it works so well, and unlike most diaper rash creams, this does soak into your skin leaving no white cast. I know this is marketed a lot on social media to use for repairing your facial skin barrier, but this is way too thick and heavy for all over facial use. My pores are screaming in pain just thinking about it.

A Must-Have for Dry or Irritated Skin
I’ve had a great experience with this balm. It’s rich and nourishing without feeling overly greasy, and it does an excellent job of soothing dry or irritated skin. A small amount goes a long way, so the tube lasts longer than expected. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free and gentle enough for sensitive skin. Whether I use it on dry patches, after shaving, or whenever my skin needs extra moisture, it consistently works well. This has become a staple in my skincare routine, and I’d definitely purchase it again.

Really moisturizing, perfect if you struggle with dry skin!
Started using this a year ago and honestly will never stop. I don’t think I realized how dry my skin has really been all these years... I put it on after I shower or wash my face. It’s a super thick consistency and leaves a bit of a white cast so you have to let it sit, but looks great under makeup. I even put it on spots of my son’s eczema and it really helps. I wouldn’t use it on oily skin but it’s great if you have dry/combination skin. No real fragrance.

The perfect night cream
My skin is extra dry and I love the feeling that this balm gives me. I noticed that the regular b5 balm seems to have a different formulation compared to the one that is called “soothing therapeutic” and so I have specifically bought this one because I love the texture. I like going to bed with the thick layer on top of all my serums and retinol.
