Rockport Men's World Tour Classic Walking Shoe, Black, 10 Medium

I am a Barista at Starbucks and for 8 hours a day I walk a long way going nowhere. These shoes are the best for comfort, stability and back support. But after being worn for about 3,250 hours - 2 years (at an average speed of 3mph that would be nearly 10,000 miles) they are completely worn out. A cost of 3 cents an hour is pretty good for the most important piece of clothing. My green apron doesn't last that long.

Pros: fits to size, toe box is roomy enough, feels very natural when walking Cons: laces are a bit on the fat side, not as much cushioning as I'd like, a bit too casual for office work

The shoes I received did not fit properly. This was a surprise since I had been wearing pairs of the same size model Rockport World Tour Classic Walking Shoes for some years. After examining the shoes closely I discovered that the latest ones I got were made in India, not in Vietnam where the previous pairs were made. In addition to the apparent change in sizing, the details in the workmanship were of poorer quality that the ones made in Vietnam.

They fit well. May be just a little on the larger side of the size spectrum. Very comfortable for all day wear.

This is the third pair of Rockport Men's World Classic Walking Shoe that I have purchased and worn in the past twenty years. I keep buying them because they are so comfortable and supportive. I wear them until they wear out (the soles tread pattern wears away).

Good, but something changed. I've been buying this shoe for work for the last 10+ years(a pair every two years or so). Six pairs in total. Until this last pair, I've been very happy. It's a great, comfortable and durable shoe. The problem this time is that the tongue isn't long enough! If you use all of the holes to lace it up, the top area of lace will dig into the top of your foot because the tongue is too short. They couldn't make it a tiny bit longer??? You can see in the picture(I didn't tie the knot so you can see the tongue better) that the tongue is short, and the final knot will be directly over the sock and not the tongue!

I initially liked this shoe alot for comfortably but i have a job that i walk alot and i was told these shoes where built well for comfort and durability. Within a year my shoes began to break down. The inside soul of the shoe began to degrade and loose its comfort. Then the laces on one of the shoes broke off. But what disturbed me the most was a shoe heal began to separate from the shoe completely. Not durable or well built.

These are the only walking shoes my husband finds comfortable to wear therefore we keep buying. Unfortunately the durability is really going downhill recently. The photos show the pair we bought in November 2022. In less than a year the shoes opened!

have used the brand for years

Rockport I bought recently falls way short of its previous versions I used 5 years ago! I recall it was like wearing walking shoes (sports variety), lighter and comfortable all day even in hot, humid areas. This purchase is a little heavier, sole is harder and doesn't give the walking shoes feel as earlier version. Wish I get a refund from the company!
