When ever I started to pedal hard the chain wouldn't catch on the next tooth and then would be deflected sideways and wedge into the jockey-cage. I tried reversing the wheel and switch top with bottom, but no change in behavior. Not sure if the teeth need to be deeper or fatter or what. I may try a 13T version in the future, but for now just put the original shimano jockey wheel back in the lower position and it's fine now, if mis-matched.The top jockey wheel seems fine. I did notice the stock shimano one has a little lateral play whereas the fomtor one is very rigid. Frankly, this seemed to give crisper shifting when indexed properly. I wonder if the oem part is that way to make it simpler to get "close-enough" for overworked mechanics or allow for a little break-in after the bike has left the shop. ### ⭐⭐ Problems before 2yr point *by N***5 on Reviewed in the United States on March 28, 2020* The upper wheel has a bit of side-side play due to sloppy tolerances, so the chain will wedge into one side or the other. Will reorder once these have been worn out! Metal cogs, with bearings encased.
