He loved the look and fit of the shoe but he quickly discovered that they were too dangerous for him to wear. The rubber tread on the soles are way more narrow than the actual soles themselves so when you walk in them you get a "rolling" effect. The narrow thick tread also creates a "high centered" feel like you are walking a tight rope or something. That seems very dangerous so I returned them. I guess that's the best thing I can say about about it. It's cool and airy though. I like the removable liner. The shoe is great for wet conditions and dries nicely. Would I buy it again? Probably not. Mainly because of the sole. It's very narrow! I've never had a "tippy" show before. Also, if you're going to buy it, order it a half size larger. I seriously struggle to get them on. That was just my experience with them.
