Two-Month Review
I've been using Sidiz T80 for two months, and now I can share some of pros and cons I found. First when I got the chair, it felt really uncomfortable for a week. Then, I realized that it's because I wasn't seating correctly. I was seating more like "C" shape when it supposed to be like "S" shape. Then, I felt significantly less back pain after I correct my posture. I felt like T80 designed to be support your back really well seating with right posture. Second, it's very easy to assemble. It took me less than 5 minutes to unbox, and assemble the chair. Also, I really liked its ease of use. Adjusting tilt angles, firmness of the back support and height are very easy to adjust and it's intuitive. It also comes with better materials overall than T50. T80 is significantly heavier then T50. T50 had more plastic parts and flimsy parts. T80 has better mesh back, cushion fabric and other parts than T50. On the other hand, there are a few things that I wish T80 could do better. I wish T80 offered a free tilt adjustment, instead of only four tilt pre-adjusted angles. I wish I could lock at any tilt angle I want. Also, I wish the T80's lumbar support can adjust the depth, like T50. It could've made T80 a perfect chair for me if I could adjust the lumbar support a bit forward (T50 offers it, but poorly). Also, I liked T50's seat cushion over T80. I'm not sure if it's just my T80, but the cushion is too thin and too firm. So I feel uncomfortable when seating over a longer period of time, which I didn't experience with T50. Overall, I would recommend T80 for home/office environment. ("maybe" for gaming) Pros - Well made, premium feel like office chair. - back and lumbar support is firm and it supports your back really well. - Easy to assemble - Ease of use. Cons - Price. Although this chair feels like premium, it's questionable when T50 is only half of its price. - Offers tilt adjustment, but only four pre-adjusted tilt angles. - Cushion is too firm and flat.

Awesome T80 Chair
I just received my Dark Gray Sidez Chair with Head Rest a couple of hours ago. I promptly unboxed it and assembled it. I am working from home now and needed a comfortable chair to sit in for hours at a time. I throughly researched ergonomic chairs. I prioritized comfort, durability and style. I read tons of reviews. I compared low, medium and mid-high priced chairs. I decided I did not want to spend the $1,600+ for all the features I wanted on a Herman Miller office chair. But I didnโt want a cheap throwaway chair. I needed a comfortable seat cushion that had an adjustable depth. I am a female senior citizen around 5โ 5โ tall. I have an ample rear end. Therefore I needed a chair cushion wide enough and deep enough that would not cut off the blood circulation at my thighs. I needed a chair where I could comfortably sit up at a desk to use my computer for hours at a time, lean back to relax, plus have support for my lower back and behind my head. Additionally I wanted adjustable arm rests so I could set them exactly where I need them. After reading the T80 chair reviews, it was out of stock at the time but I decided to order this chair and wait almost a month to receive it. I have beautiful wood floors that I did not want to damage but I did not want to use ugly floor mats. Again, I did tons of research and decided to order STEALTHO replacement rollerblade style wheels on Amazon. [NOTE: These STEALTHO wheels have a Black โouter shellโ so they look Great with a Black chair base (as in the โDark Grayโ chair version). However, I do NOT think this particular STEALTHO replacement rollerblade wheel would look good when the chair base is White (as in the โLight Grayโ chair version)] Here is the replacement wheel description on Amazon: โSTEALTO Replacement Office Chair Caster Wheels Set of 5 - Protect Your Floor - Quick & Quiet Rolling Over The Cables - No More Chair Mat Needed - with Brakes - Blue Polyurethane - Standard Stem 7/16.โ (FYI: The photos I included with this review show the Dark Gray Sidez T80 Chair with the Stealtho Replacement Wheels w/brakes already installed) I debated about using these wheels with the dark gray T80 chair (as the wheel itself is blue w/black outer frame) and whether it was worth the extra money for the brakes (on two wheels). At $45.99 for a set of 5 I decided to go for it. I liked the idea that the blue wheel wonโt turn yellow over time like clear wheels. After installation, the blue wheels look fabulous on the dark gray T80 chair. Iโm glad I opted for the ones with brakes because the wheels glide so smoothly, the brakes provide more stability so the chair doesnโt move out from under me when I go to sit down. The instructions for the chair were written in Korean but it was easy to figure out how to assemble the chair without them. However, I am glad another reviewer mentioned the need to remove 2 โinstalled screwsโ from the chair 1st before installing the headrest with the new longer screws that are provided in a plastic bag with a Sidiz plate cover. Donโt despair when you 1st sit down, I warn you, it sits straight up without adjustments. Look at the enclosed booklet and adjust the seat height, seat depth, degree of tilt, the tilting tension, the lumbar position, the arm rests and the head rest position. Now it feels heavenly. The seat cushion is very comfortable. It is supportive but not too hard or too soft. Apparently, the fabric cover on the cushion is removable so you can wash it. That is a plus for me. I found the mesh back is very comfortable. The chair has more plastic parts compared to a HM but I knew that before I ordered it. But at $699 it is an affordable alternative to a HM. Actually I was pleasantly surprised when I received the T80 that it seems hefty and very well made. To top it off, it is gorgeous! About me: I purchase A LOT on Amazon. I heavily depend on reading reviews to help me decide on my purchases. I always pay full price and have never been given an item in exchange for a review. So my reviews are honest. This chair was a high dollar item and I am very grateful to all of the people who previously took the time to review this chair. (I try to leave reviews for items I purchase on Amazon but I usually donโt take the time to leave a thorough review). Since this is a more expensive item, I decided to leave an extensive review on this item. I highly recommend this chair. In fact, I decided to take the plunge and I just placed another order for a second T80 in dark gray while it is still in stock for my co-worker. I will try to come back in the future and update my review of this chair after I use it for several months. Update: I also ordered on Amazon: โErgoFoam Adjustable Foot Rest Under Desk for Added Height | Large Premium Velvet Soft Foam Footrest for Desk | Most Comfortable Desk Foot Rest in The World for Back, Lumbar, Knee Pain (Black)โ to use with my T80 chair. (There are a variety of under desk foot rests available on Amazon and office supply stores so look around if you are interested). I just wanted to say this foot rest delivered today. The addition of the use of a foot rest, (with this already awesome T80 chair), makes my feet, legs and lower back say โAhhhhhhhโ.

Wanted to love it...but no.
This is a great looking chair and it checks all the boxes for ergonomic adjustability. Many people apparently find it comfortable (check the many 5 star ratings) but my body just does not. I am 6'1" and 210 lbs. Everything fits well including the neck role/headrest, but several areas are painful: 1. The lumbar support is height adjustable but not depth. It is a very thin piece of plastic so I can feel the lumpy lumbar hardware against my back. Also, it pushes the mesh into your back and feels like a cheese grater. I can tolerate it if I push it all the way down, but kind of defeats the purpose. Not a fan. 2. Arm rests are small and very hard foam. That may make them last longer but they are uncomfortable and dig into my forearms. I put on some $15 Milliard memory foam arm pads that works well so this one I could live with if it was the only complaint, but it is not. 3. The foam seat is the deal-breaker. It is very thin and does not provide adequate support for my 210 lbs. My backside aches after an hour or two. Okay, I know it isn't a $1200 chair, but $700 isn't chump change. I expect some quality foam and this isn't it. Like I said, the chair fits me well and I want to love it, and you may love it are less than 170 lbs or so. Unfortunately, after sitting in the chair 8 hrs a day for a week, I can't live with the uncomfortable seat and lumbar support so it is going back.

Flimsy Packaging
I bought this chair as a gift to my septuagenarian dad as he spends a lot of time still working behind a computer. He loves the chair and it provides excellent support for his back as well as being very comfortable for him to sit on for hours on end. Assembly was swift and easy and I would have rated this chair as a 5 star product if it weren't for the flimsy packaging that it arrived in. The chair came with the plastic on the underside of the seat cracked and shattered, probably due to mishandling of the package although I didn't notice any significant damage to the box. The styrofoam sheet that protects the base in the box is not very thick and I can imagine even a slight drop could result in some serious damage. For a chair that is nearly $700, I would expect some better packaging to prevent this kind of thing from happening, or stronger plastic on the underside of the seat. Thankfully I was able to order a replacement that came undamaged. A few words on disassembling for return: Disassembling the gas-lift from the seat and the base of the chair was incredibly difficult. Don't bother with the instructions found on the SIDIZ website as they are pretty worthless and don't provide adequate instruction on how to actually remove either part. It took a series of very powerful strikes with a rubber mallet directly on the 5 star base to remove the gas -lift, and another series of powerful strikes with a heavy hammer to remove the gas-lift from the base. To SIDIZ's credit this did not result in any damage to the gas lift or the base. If only the plastic covering on the underside of the seat were as sturdy as the other pieces of the chair!

Caution
1. Product quality, deliver, easy of installation were all excellent. My biggest issue is, for $700, the chair is just not comfortable at all. There is no lumbar support. Its just a solid plastic part that is uncomfortable and lends no support whatsoever. The seat cushion is lacking. My back was killing me after sitting in the chair for just an hour. The mesh back looks like good quality, but is stiff and feels like your leaning against a hard surface. Not worth the $700 at all.

An excellent chair that's one size fits most. I wasn't one of them. :(
First things first, I did not keep this chair for reasons I will detail below. That being said, I can easily recommend this chair for most people who are looking for a robust, well made ergonomic chair that's under $1,000. When I received the chair, it arrived in pristine condition. It had custom cut foam to fit around parts of the chair and ample padding throughout. It wasn't quite the unboxing experience the SecretLab Omega D.va Edition (surprisingly well packaged) was but far better than the shockingly poor Vertagear SL4000. Assembly was by far the easiest of any chair I've purchased. Since the arms come attached to the frame of the chair, the only real assembly is if you opt to install the headrest. Otherwise, the gas lift simply sits inside the 5 star base and the chair lowered onto the gas lift piston. Insert casters. Done in minutes. The build quality of the chair, despite being mostly plastic, is very high. There is heft to the chair and it feels rigid, with no weird flex or give in random spots. The finish and feel very similar to higher end chairs like the Steelcase Gesture. The plastics, anyway. The fabric isn't quite up there. The mesh back is thick and the seat fabric felt like a mid-rub blend of poly. The five star base felt very durable despite being plastic. The casters were also plastic but they were the smoothest ones I've felt yet. They also performed fairly well on high pile carpet. In terms of ergonomics, there are a ton of adjustments that can be made to tailor to your preferences. Without going in depth, I've found that it hit basically everything I looked for with the exception of being able to lock a seat/back tilt angle. This is something that's usually reserved to only the most adjustable ergonomic chairs out there so it didn't come as a surprise. Comfort wise, it was mixed. The chair was supportive and comfortable for short stays but the seat didn't agree with my flat butt over extended sessions. On the flip side, my girlfriend found it comfortable and had she not wanted a pink gamer chair (the SecretLab I mentioned), I would have kept the T80 and have her use it instead. Oh well. Ultimately, the reason why I ended up returning the chair was because there were a few small issues that I could not resolve. The biggest issue was the size. While it is a larger chair than most, the headrest was too short and only supported my neck and lower head. Being just shy of 6'1", I suspected that I might run into this issue but hoped the headrest would adjust high enough. The lumbar support also did not adjust high enough and only managed to reach my upper hip. Lastly, there was a very small amount of a play in the seat that bothered me. A crazy nitpick for many I'm sure, but I shift in my seat from time to time and every once in a while, I would feel a click or a slight wobble. If the headrest and lumbar were better positioned for a taller person, I would have gotten over the seat but it was not meant to be. At the end of the day, I think the majority of buyers would be thrilled to own it. The T80 is stylish and holds its own against the likes of the Aeron (supportive, but not as comfortable) and Gesture (not as supportive but comfy) at a lower price. The customer support was also fantastic. I just wish it were taller, since I can't do anything about my height. :P

Phenomenal chair, best I've ever used
I'd done tons of research pouring through many ergenomic chair recommendations, after coming to the conclusion that "gaming chairs" are not worth the time of day. I was willing to pay good money for solid construction, proper ergonomics, and of course great aesthetics. It seemed that my best options were either more budget friendly alternatives, or absurd mark ups for herman miller products. Listen, I don't care how great you think it is, I'm not paying over 1,200 dollars for a chair. And then I stumbled across this low key (at least in the US) brand called Sidiz. From the pictures I could check off some boxes. Is it a looker? Check. Ergonomics and a plethora of adjustment capabilities? Check. Doesn't ask for half of my wages? Check. After reading the reviews, I decided to take the leap and purchase it. And I was not dissapointed. The assembly is incredibly straight forward. It took 10 minutes. The packaging was secure and the product came without a scratch. When I first took a seat, I was pretty underwhelmed to be honest... until I investigated the user guide and found out how many adjustments their actually are. Tilting tension, seat position, lumbar position, and of course height, it has it all. Everything felt premium while playing around with the adjustments. The seat material itself is perfect for me. It has sufficient cushion without being a marshmallow. On top of that the back mesh design allows great airflow, and I'm happy to report I haven't had to worry about a sweaty back. My personal advice to anyone who buys this chair is to look at ALL of the settings. Spend as long as you need to move all the components to the right place to feel perfectly comfortable. When you get everything where it needs to be... it's pure bliss. All in all, I love this chair. I plan on coming back to this review and updating my experience after 6 months, then a year, in case anyone is interested. I can recommend this chair to anyone that wants a herman miller alternative, or just an endgame chair. It's a gorgeous design. 7/3/2020 Update: Now that I've had time to get completely accustomed to this chair, I can't imagine owning anything else. I've gotten compliments on its aesthetics, and it's made my life in quarantine so much better. In short: get the chair! 3/11/2021 Update: This chair has enormously increased my quality of life. I'm happy to see the success of this product grow. If you're in the market for a chair, look no where else!

A mostly good chair with unforgivable flaws
Assembly was easy, I watched the YouTube video and put it together in less than five minutes. My initial impression of the chair was good. While there is a lot of plastic, the chair feels solid and looks pretty good. The mechanism that tilts the base when you lean back in the chair feels smooth and sturdy, and I was able to make adjustments easily, with the exception of the armrests which are difficult to move. It wasn't until I had sat in the chair a little while that I felt the hard plastic lumbar support. I tried moving it down and away from my back, but it doesn't move far enough. The problem isn't just the fact that the lumbar is rock hard, there is a design flaw that causes two plastic pieces to stick out into your back. (picture attached) At this point, I would have returned the item, but unfortunately I had tossed the packing (because my apartment is small, and the box was extremely large. Also I'm an idiot.) With some effort I was able to jam a towel between the lumbar and the mesh, that helped enough as a temporary fix. I inspected the lumbar and determined that I had a chance of being able to remove the metal bar/spring and plastic piece and replace it with a cushion, so I bought a lumbar support pillow and after about an hour of work I finished. (pictures attached) The chair is supportive, but not super comfortable. I am mostly fine with that, I just need something I can sit in 50 hours a week and maintain decent posture. Complaints I have in order of importance are: - The lumbar is a total dealbreaker - The headrest is too short, even though I am 5' 8" - The seat cushion is just a tad too firm to be comfortable, and slides slightly sometimes. In summary, unless this is on sale for $250, don't buy it. I wish I had sprung for a Herman Miller Embody. Sure it would have cost twice as much, but I would be comfortable.
