This in an invaluable accessory for the Pocket. I purchased it for the trip of a lifetime to London. I didn't want to have to worry about battery life with the Pocket itself. This battery made sure I never had to, even when using the Pocket frequently throughout the day, and then taking an hour long timelapse. The cell phone adapter also makes for a very solid complete unit. I never had to worry about either the phone or the Pocket wiggling loose and falling. The tripod stand is solid, even when used on a rocking boat. The fact that this kid was sold by Smatree clinched my purchase since I have a variety of other products by them and they are always well made and dependable. Incredibly happy with this overall purchase.

When I recently got the Pocket 2, it was to basically complement my Mini 3 Pro. Unfortunately there were some things about it that I really didn't care for, such as its tiny body (I literally was holding it between my thumb and index fingers), it's tiny display, and the quality of the pictures it took. I contemplated returning it and waiting to see if something else would come out later this year. But then I saw this. An immediate appeal was that it would not only allow me to film for longer periods, but it also gave me something to fully hold on to. The tripod, which can also be used to further lengthen the handle, was also very nice, as this was a piece of kit I was missing, since I didn't spring for the creator combo. The biggest surprise though was the bracket to hold both the camera and the Pocket 2. At first I thought it was just convenient, but then I realized that the power stick was charging both my camera and my phone. Presto, the issue with the tiny display was resolved, and I will probably always use this setup, as it also means I no longer need to deal with fiddly controls like a joystick or contextual button mashing. As for the photos, I can always rely on my phone for that while using the mini 2 for video needs.

The Smartree Power Stick is very nice and works just great. However...when using the the BlueTooth audio mode...the power stick does NOT power the Pocket Mini because the BlueTooth module inhibits that function. Epic fail when you are a pro and using the BlueTooth as an audio device to film TV shows. I feel like that's something that if Smartree knew this was an issue would be a pretty simple fix, but while filming a show today, my Pocket Mini went down after two hours of use, and I had the PowerStick in place and cabled. So...on my next shoot, I will drop the BlueTooth mode and just go PowerStick. Luckily I have other cameras but in this scenario I needed the portability and I needed audio of my subject so BlueTooth came into play. That said...the video was sensational, and the audio stellar...just not long enough.

Grab n go, ladies, it fits in your purse, aren't too complicated to work with and really easy to set up and go. I love that I can film content for all platforms and upload it right into my phone. It's quick to download on your laptop and I use Capcut to edit them. I attached photos for comparison in length and somewhat height, it 'looks' longer than a 17' Mac book but it's not. I also purchased the stand and one of the lenses which I forget to use. The stand comes in handy when I'm by myself. I didn't think the battery would last as long as it does, but I can film for about an hour, on and off for a good four days. Meaning, I'll full for a complete house but it'll time out and shut off, so it'll be, maybe 2 hours of it going on and off, maybe I'm setting up or driving to another location to film. I initially purchsed the case but not every gadget fit, so I just use an old camera case I had. Overall, I love it. I have actually filmed more than I can upload and I'd purchase another one if this one needed to be replaced.

For the price, I was a little skeptical about this product especially since it's the version with the stand and battery. Have to say, this product is pretty legit. The handle is hefty and made of good quality aluminum. The tripod stand is also very good quality aluminum. I haven't tested out the battery life yet but it seems to work as expected. The part that holds the phone and Pocket is plastic but it's rubber lined and firm enough that I have no concerns. The phone holder is a nice aluminum and holds the phone very securely. I'd have confidence running with this. Works as expected and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Definitely worth the $50.
