I love conversation card decks like this! The questions are unique and thoughtfully written, leading to deeper, more meaningful conversations rather than the usual surface-level prompts. I also really appreciate the Christian foundation woven into the cards, it adds purpose and intentionality to the discussions. I already own several question card decks, and these are genuinely different from anything else I have. My husband and I have really enjoyed using them, and they’re great because you can revisit the deck over time and still get value from it as your relationship grows! My husband and I love DYMC card decks. The questions provoke thoughtful conversation that helps us grow. We keep a deck in the car which keeps the conversation flowing easily on longer drives. It's great to be able to take these little opportunities to invest in our marriage instead of defaulting to politics, responsibilities, or current events! We're on our third deck (Sexpectations) now, but this is the deck we keep gifting to newlyweds. It's like a mini pre-marital counseling course. Each card in this deck asks a question, which we both answer, as well as suggestions or insights into why this might be important to reflect on.

My husband and I enjoyed going through these cards. We did about 10 every evening while laying in bed. Turn off the tv for distraction free-time together. Quality printed card paper and great conversational questions. These cards are well written and ask questions that you need to know the answer to but may be afraid to ask. How does your partner view money, family and kids. Get may get real but let this be a safe time to be honest with out judgment or hurt feelings.

These are some good cards to use to help rejump your marriage. They didn’t work for me no fault of these.

I first hear about Dear Young Married Couple through Instagram. At the time I had been married for less than a year and I just gleaned so much from the marriage advice and small challenges that were posted so purchasing this deck was a given for me. The packing is sleek and simple, it's not loud that I feel like I don't want to pull it out of my bag while traveling. We have taken it on long card rides, road trips and airplanes, it's our travel game. Bought the deck a few months ago but we haven't gotten all the way through because our conversations usually spark other questions and topics even memories that we haven't shared. Highly recommended even if you don't make it a daily practice. We are on the road a lot and this has been a fun way to connect.

Once we started taking turns asking each other a card we quickly lost track of time as we began to talk in-depth on each card we read. These cards will help you connect or re-connect to your spouse, learn something new about them and even help broach awkward or hard questions you’ve wanted to ask but we’re afraid of approaching it in the wrong way. Being intentional about your relationship is key and these cards allow an insight into learning your partner on a deeper level. In return, you can learn how to be a better partner for them by figuring out their goals, likes, dislikes, love languages, perceptions, etc. I think this would be a great supplement for the 5 love languages books/quiz because it allows both of you to give examples on how YOU want to be shown love in your relationship, not just reading bullet points about a specific trait and adopting it as your own.
