After having a clogged ear due to impacted ear wax for 13 days and using 3 different types of drops (olive oil, hydrogen peroxide and sodium bicarbonate) nothing would shift the wax and my hearing loss was driving me mental. Ordered this device after reading reviews and getting assurance from my GP over the phone that at home ear irrigation is safe and effective. It arrived the next day and my partner assisted as I was nervous to do this on my own. It took about two rounds of warm water (about 16 scooshes) before I was able to hear again. The wax came out gradually with ear attempt and then finally after the two rounds I was able to hear. I did feel very dizzy after and needed to sit down afterwards but I had read this could happen so I was not too concerned and after a few minutes I felt great. I was so happy, it was unreal being able to hear again and myMood improved so much as I had been a major grump for two weeks while administering the drops religiously with no improvement. I could not recommend this product enough. Such a simple thing and it was brilliant. Saved myself the £60 it would have cost to get private ear irrigation so for £12, well worth it.

So, this product worked well, but there are a few important things to future buyers to note, in order to get success -1) Have your head up, and slightly tilted to the opposite side to the ear you are cleaning, this seems to give the best chance for the flow of water to hit the right area and drain well,2) Open your jaw fully whilst doing it, has a significant effect on the ear canal inside your head, and again, allows for better flow.3) Persevere, I did this maybe 5 times one week (after using some olive oil drops) and then again a week later, again maybe 5 times, and the results after the last go I did, well, astonishing. Check the photo I attached that show a couple of choice chunks, it's gross, but I'm so pleased to get that out.4) (I do this in the shower, sounds a bit weird, but it's the best way to be able to position your head so it is up (eyes looking forward) and head slightly tilted away from the ear you are cleaning, without having to worry about all the water getting everywhere (this positioning is difficult to do over the sink without getting water all over yourself and the floor). Regardless, it is worth the effort.)5) Don't use cold water, you'll will get dizzy. Tepid water is best.Background about me is, I suffer with significant impacted ear wax as in my job I need to wear ear plugs a lot, so my ears just don't drain. This affects my hearing, so having a way to routinely and effectively irigate my ears is great, with patience and time, this has even removed the dark boulders of ear wax from my ear canal that you can see in the photo.What I would say is, definitely use some sort of oil drops to soften the wax over a few days first, and play the long game, this is tricky stuff to get out, so don't expect it all to come flooding out in one go, ear canals are small and intricate, and ear wax is changeable, horrible stuff so use this thing regularly, results are great if you use it repeatedly and have patience.

My boyfriend kept harping on about going to the doctors to get my ears cleaned. Having narrow canals they can block up quite quickly. I thought how difficult would it be to do something about it myself so started searching for options. I was going to buy one of the fancy syringe type mechanisms when I spotted this unusual looking contraption. After reading the reviews I went ahead and ordered one which arrived within 2 days. It worked like a charm. Such a simple tool that provides amazing relief. It took a few scooshes, and keeping the water a warm enough temperature is important as instructed, but after about 5 attempts I knew I had succeeded. Strangely enough I did find a small plastic stopper from the back on an earring in my canal which was a bit of shock. Buy this tool people and put an end to your suffering.

Very high quality product. Very easy to use and it gently irrigates your ears without causing damage to your ear drum. It also produces a substantial blast of air when squeezed so ideal for cleaning computer keyboards, camera lenses, CDs etc. It hasn't succeeded in clearing the wax from my ears yet but neither has all the other methods I've tried that usually work. I must have a particularly compacted wax plug this time. I'm sure that for normal wax blockages it would work very well. Very pleased with the product overal and will be using it to keep my ears wax free once I have cleared the persistent obstruction.

I bought this product for my husband who wears hearing aids and seems to need his ears syringing on a regular basis at the GP surgery. They won’t do this at the moment so they suggested a bulb syringe. It hasn’t done the trick so far.It may work as a maintenance tool once his ears have been cleaned professionally.

I have an earwax problem and it used to be an easy job to get it sorted out by the practice nurse. Now you have to pay for it so I've bought different devices to try and sort out my problem. The latest being wax candles, but that had very limited success. I read the reviews on this product and decided to buy it. Instructions were simple and straightforward. I had already loosened the wax by drops and so gave this a try. As I said, I had used other methods and they were useless. This was so simple and I used it over the sink with a bowl inside and flushed out my ears a few times and immediately found the wax was coming out. In a relatively short amount of time both ears were clear! Great product and a great price. I bought the biggest bottle. Don't bother with anything other than this and something to loosen the wax first.

J’ai assez régulièrement du cérumen qui reste coincé dans mes oreilles du fait de mettre toutes les nuits de bouchons pour dormir. Et ce produit a été révolutionnaire ! Plus besoin d’aller chez l’orl pour retirer les bouchons - mtn avec ce produit on peut facilement tout retirer et surtout bien prévenir les bouchons.Vraiment un excellent produit.
