Is your foot supposed to lift out of it like Danskos do?

I wear thin support stockings - and my foot does not lift out. If I wear thicker socks ... they do. Go figure!?

I like the look of the iridescent purple/black, but I’m worried they may be too shiny. Does anyone know how they look under bright lights?

In my opinion, they were NOT “too shiny”. I’d say the pic/visual is pretty close to the “true to life look”.
