I bought this as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves it! It is very well made, and it is exactly what he was wanting in place of his watch.

Purchased Silver finish Pros -Sleek looking -Feels solid -Features are easy to use -Easy to read dial -Somewhat pricy Cons -Compass is not accurate. Shaking it can sometimes align it with accuracy but even comparing to another compass, it's clearly inaccurate and therefore unreliable. I'd rather not have the feature if it's not properly calibrated or functional. -Light only stays on for 2 or 3 seconds.

After reading the reviews for this watch, I was very reticent to make the purchase. I feared the glass would be scratched and cracked day one, or worse, it would be dead-on-arrival. But, I grew frustrated with my wristwatches, having to take them on and off to wash my hands. So, I took the plunge, bought it, and don't regret it. After a month, the glass in intact, though I must confess that, for weeks, I left the plastic adhesive cover that usually comes with watches on the glass for a sense of security. Sure, it would come off and on, until it finally came off and disappeared. And, after some time, the watch took some bumps and flops while hanging on the belt loop of my pants, but is still undamaged. It's far less intrusive than a wrist watch for everyday use, it reads well, keeps accurate time, can be backlit at night for a brief time with the press of a button, and feels really cool. Lightweight too, I like the feel. As for the compass, I can't speak much on it's accuracy, but looks pretty unreliable (not why I bought it though, so irrelevant to me). Also, it was very easy to set-up; I had no issues.

Written 11-6-23. I can't stand to have a watch on my wrist. And I'm not too hot at telling time w old fashioned faces. For years I have bought digital wrist watches that I carried in my pocket. In July '23 I saw this Dakota and thought I'd give it a try. It works. Its heavier than I expected. I found I did not like it clipped to a belt loop - banged into every thing and caught on stuff and I really couldn't read it without unclipping. The buttons protrude quite a bit and settings sometimes get changed by accident in my pocket. And as I said its bulky for my pocket. The compas is a cute decoration but I wouldn't trust it. The carabiner clip is sturdy and so is the case. For me the setting sequences are not intuitive and I've lost the directions. I was pretty disappointed that the Dakota website does not have setting directions readily available. Also I thought I would be able to change the face from all dark w light digits - either I haven't figured it out or its not possible (in which case I'm even less enthusiastic for it overall. As the face is now I really don't like it - hard to read. I do think it reset itself and went off daylight savings and that is a welcome surprise. Or did I accidentally reset in my pocket - who knows?? I sent an email to the website and hope they will send me setting directions.

Multi use tool. Easy to access time but does not get in the way. For me, wrist watches are too big and bulky plus get in the way when working, plus end up getting dunked in the water.

Die Lieferzeit war natürlich länger, aber das Produkt kommt ja aus den USA! Eine sehr schöne multifunktionale digitale Taschenuhr in einem klassischen Design. Genau die richtige Größe: nicht zu groß und passt gut in die Westentasche; nicht zu klein - die Zeit ist problemlos ablesbar. Ein echter Hingucker (eyecatcher).

The built quality is great.the battery was low when I received it. The watch works well. Easy to set .

Great for what it is, just make sure to get it for less than £50, as some sellers are super expensive. Everything works fine, the compass isn't exactly accurate at times but I didn't buy it for that. Easy to set the time and has decent modes including a light. The only downside is that it all metal so it is likely to be damaged when dropped unlike an abs plastic shock proof alternative. Unfortinately this is pretty much your only option for a carabiner clip watch in digital format.
