I will first say this I had contacted B Dancewear about a few questions and the representative for them was very kind hearted to me and my needs they provided me with every possible answer that I needed to know about there products, now it comes down there actual merchandise that I had purchased from them I will say it is very well made strong enough for me to put through punishment from parkour training and long distance running with my brother and these held up very well giving me the maximum movements needed to perform with out losing the strength from the fabric used, I will also say that I had purchased a total of 4,, 2 in black and 2 in nude colors. And even after washing them multiple times they still have not lost any of the shape or the color. I will also go on to say that I also have put in another order with this company for all of there other colors for this particular item. Now the only thing I would like to see them do is put in for complete customization pieces such leotards and one piece body suits as well in all different colors needed but I’m sure they are working on that already m, in the end I will say if you need dance shorts or running shorts as well as everyday wear shorts such as these look no further, this is what you will want and need. I’m very happy with them and they are extremely comfortable in such that you don’t even fell like you are wearing anything at all, in which I love. So I will be saving this company to my favorites list and I will buy more from them as well, thank you B Dancewear

Allow for easy movement
The material of the shorts is very soft. I wear these shorts for my yoga practice. They are comfortable and don't constrict the movement.The reason I'm giving only four stars is the color. The picture seems to suggest that the shorts would be close to mustard yellow in color but the color is closer to canary yellow. Personally I don't mind the canary yellow but it can be a disappoinment for someone looking for the color shown in the picture.

These look great, feel great and don’t cut you across at the waistband. The legs do ride up a bit but not terribly. I could have sized down one size but glad I didn’t.Ordered an XL (typical size 12 pants, 170lbs, 36DDD, 5”5)

Black is very shiny - not a matte finish
The product itself is fine, but as other reviews mentioned the ‘black’ is EXTREMELY shiny material, so much so that I returned it as I was looking for a more matte finish (closer to how the picture looked). Other than the material/finish discrepancy, everything else is spot on. Just beware if you buy black you are getting some seriously shiny dance shorts!

Dancewear fits like Spanx!
These high wasted dance spankies are Awesome! I bought a medium and they fit just right. High wasted makes you feel like you’re wearing spanks. Well made. Will definitely wear with dresses.

Best High waisted short PERIOD!
These are so comfy, don’t roll (and I’m a thick girl!) I wear a 14 pant and got a XL and it’s perfect! And not even close to too tight and spandex so it is not loose! They are so worth the money I’m BEYOND glad I bought them! But it you won’t regret I promise!
