These are excellent. Very soft and sweet way better than the brands I’ve tried here in the USA. Give them a try, I will be purchasing again.

Wow the strawberry are absolutely FANTASTIC. My hubby hates licorice and i am picky. This is even better than the 1 from whole foods delivery. Much bigger pack and totally fresh and soft. Very tangy and barely sweet. YESSSSS LOVE LOVE good buy

I snack on it at work all day! I've made a significant dent in it already, it tastes just like the stuff in the supermarket, which might have an artificial taste, my girlfriend doesn't like them because it tastes artificial to her, but not to me. So I guess if you like Darrel Lea already, you'll like this too. It was more fresh than most of the soft eating strawberry licorice that you could get in the store, which are sometimes very stale and hard to eat.

Australian Licorice is just flat out expensive. This is a very good price point. The texture is accurate, it is soft as it should be. Flavor is very good. Not absolutely the best i've ever had but darn good. My kids fight over it. You can't go wrong with this at all.

The taste is good, and very similar to the “classic red” Wiley Wallaby brand, but the licorice is very sticky. It’s nice and soft and easy to chew. If you’re not worried about having to wash your hands after having a snack, I would recommend these.

This licorice is just what i wanted it tastes amazing, soft and chewy! Now my son knows i have it so I’m going to have to hide it from him lol!

I have purchased this before, and it was excellent. However, not this time. The licorice was the same softness ("freshness") as before but tasted like dish soap (that same "after-taste when a glass hasn't been rinsed well I could smell it when still unopened and inside the unopened bubble-wrap mailing envelope it came in. I thought at the time that the mailing package must have gotten something on it, but the soapy-smelling odor became stronger as I opened the mailer package, and was stronger, yet, when opening the the actual candy package. I admit that my olfactory sense is strong and gave the benefit of the doubt and first ate 1 piece, then 3 at a time more for a total of 4 pieces to see If I was nuts, which was ignorant ant stupid. I must have been nuts to tast it at all, much less eating 3cpieces more. I spat out the 3 pieces I tossed in my mouth. It all had a taste as if dish soap had been lightly lightly drizzled on it. So, I tightly sealed the candy package and threw it in a trash bag, where it still resides in my living room awaiting to be taken out to the trash. I fortunately did not get sick but felt slightly sick to my stomache. However, I did not vomit. Chances are that the mental thought of it got the best of me. Obviously, I would be foolish to buy more. The cost is high, but it was really good in the past. I am not looking for remuneration. Complaining goes against my grain, but I would be remiss not to be informative about the bad taste of this batch of candy.

This is not your typical waxy, tasteless strawberry licorice. It's soft, chewy, and richly flavorful -- kind of like eating a spoonful of strawberry jam.
