I recommend niacinamide over niacin, as the latter can cause flushing very quickly. Niacinamide, though, circulates more slowly in your system and helps your body process other crucial functions. I’ve tried other brands. Although Jarrow is equal to them in effectiveness, I found the price to be most competitive.Since I’ve read some medical doctor’s recommendations to take one 250mg every two to three hours, the cost and convenience is important. I keep a bottle right on my bathroom sink. When I go to wash my hands, it’s a reminder to take a capsule. You can’t overdose, but I understand your body can’t use more than 250mg every few hours.

I split the 250mg dose into two (2) 125mg doses and stack it with D-Ribose (about 1/2 gram per dose). Since both work on a cellular level I hope taking them together would produce synergistic results. Scientifically - whether that's happening or not - can't say. I have noticed very positive results since I started taking the combination. I have energy to lift more and extend my workout and recovery time from lifting has greatly improved. I have also noticed a difference in my skin and an unexpected result was I no longer have bags under my eyes. Overall, I just feel better and have more energy. This 54 year old guy has been impressed.....

I bought this to use for my cats with kidney disease as Niacinamide is supposed to help lower phosphorous levels. Easy to use and good for me too! Jarrow is a brand I trust.

The product has been as expected. The packaging is fine, with decent description of ingredients and instructions. I've experienced no odd side effects or really any disappointment in using it. Taking as part of a general supplementation plan to improve health and sleep in particular based on vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and have noticed some improvement.

But I works I guess. Vet recommended it for my dog that has pemphigus. Give it to her twice a day and she swallows it with peanut butter. This in combo with sterioids and antibiotics and her symptoms have gone away. Happy it's cheap too.

I took this product with several other other things and I noticed, a hyper intense effect 20 to 30 minutes after taking then at 45 minutes I got no sustained or increase in energy. I would say this product is limited in how it's effects last. A bottle of 5 hour energy is better than this product.

My energy level is up and I feel better in the morning. No flushing at all. I won't know how well it's working until I get my next blood test but if energy is any levels are any indication I should have positive results.
