Has anyone tried making beef / turkey jerky yet, and if you have how did it turn out?

I have made Beef & Turkey Jerky and they were better than any I have bought from a store. It took 6 to 7 hours. I use it all the time to dry and bottle things like parsley, celery, cilantro. Love making my own dry spices.

My first dehydrator; do you need to purchase tray liners or any other needed items for the drying process before using?

Tray dryers are a real good way of dehydratingredients anything realay minced (ie... garlic that's is chopped up coarse or minced would fall through the trays provided...I bought tray liners and I also cut to that shape plain parchment paper to dehydrate herbs & veggies. .
