can this be washed with bleach? i can't seem to get the mildew stains out of it.

Regardless of what other people have written, the product listing specifically says "do not bleach"

I never iron mine. I wash it about twice a year and hang it to dry. Not sure what the instructions say. I always use cold water and a good detergent like the tide in the white bottle. Good luck!

I just bought this curtain? i noticed a slight humid smell. are both side waterproof? should the tag side be facing the tub?

Yes the tag faces the tub. I haven't noticed any odor from mine. I do think both sides are waterproof.

Is it waterproof enough that if the shower head is on it won't bleed through to let water out?

Yes. Water won't bleed through. We first bought an extra long one as the only curtain for a shower in a remodel of a painfully small bathroom. Didn't want shower doors to contribute to "smallness" of the narrow room, plus my husband and I expect to remain in our house as we age and glass doors in a narrow room could become obstacles. There is just a small step down into the shower. The curtain dries quickly and it is tucked out of sight behind a 11" stub wall. Lovely flowing material that laundered well. (I think it can go in a dryer but why bother) I bought another one as a liner for a tub shower curtain in our other bath. I like it so much that will probably buy spares in case for some reason it becomes unavailable
