Be careful!
Just realize the reflective side scratches, so make sure you prepare your project so it's protected

Good, but sensitive
This acrylic looks great, but it is very sensitive to any touches. I ran my finger down the mirror while cleaning it and it left a large unsightly scratch right down the center. I ended up purchasing the glass instead in hopes that will be more durable than the acrylic..

Great for Magic Mirror but very fragile.
If you are looking to make a Magic Mirror this is what you want. I'll let you know the issues I had and how I overcame them. First. Even though it is acrylic do not cut it with an acrylic knife. It wont work. I tried twice and it wouldn't follow the cut when it came time to snap. What I did instead was I cut it with a dremel with the cut off wheel. Make sure the rpm isn't too high or it will melt the plastic. Second some else mentioned the waves if you get the 1mm. That is true. I was able to overcome this with using UV glue behind the mirror against the display. This makes it a permanent attachment to the display so make sure you want to go this route. To keep it pressed firmly against the LCD I placed a piece of glass over it. That will let the light through and make sure its flat. I then used the glass and a layer that will help protect the surface of the acrylic. Just make sure you wear gloves and clean the glass really well. Otherwise smudges on the inside of the glass will show. Also someone was asking what side should face the monitor and what side should face outward. The side that looks like it magnifies is the side that faces against the display. Overall it was a fun project. The last thing I would suggest is to use black electrical tape around the inside of your frame to ensure no possible light through the back.

It’s very easy to get scratches on it that are very noticeable.

Perfect for any magic mirror project
This arrived in a giant box! I was so worried it was going to be broken, but it was very very bubble wrapped inside. It arrived in perfect condition. I made a huge magic mirror for a class project, and it worked out great! It's thick, but yes, you can see through it. I really enjoyed working on this project! Ended up getting a B in the class (aww ysss)! And yes, I know it's expensive. Trust me I did quite a bit of looking around and almost bought something cheap. But I think if you're going to make something for your house that you intend to use daily, or for a gift, spend the money on a quality peice of acrylic. The company even reached out to me to make sure everything was ok when it arrived. Spend the money, it's seriously worth it!Warning!! I suggest working with something a bit smaller though if you don't have the right kind of frame (like me). It tends to bow out, like it's falling out of the frame, but when I have time I plan on fixing the frame so it stays in place. Make sure you have your measurements right!! I'd suggest working with a local framing company if you'd like to put this in a shadow box type of fixture.

Mirrored Film vs. Mirrored Glass
This product is exactly what you would expect. It’s a mirrored film that many people (including myself) use for smart mirror projects. I have lined up this film and a piece of more expensive mirrored glass next to each other and the film was surprisingly far more reflective than the glass. However, for a smart mirror the end goal isn’t always to get the most reflective surface. If there is too much reflection and not enough transparency to let the light from the monitor through then the solution fails. That is why I ended up sticking with the glass and returning this item. I really wanted this film to work for budget reasons, but I couldn’t deny the beauty of the mirrored glass.

Perfect for Costume
My son wanted to be a tv for Halloween. This was perfect for the tv screen. We used a box and taped to the inside. He could see out (even at night) and people couldn’t see in. Perfect and good price for our need.

Exactly as described
This is exactly as described. Works as well as to be expected. As any two-way mirror works, one side must be kept significantly dimmer than the other to appear reflective on the brighter side (the reflective material reflects about 50% and transmits the other 50%...and this works in both directions. When one side is kept dark with respect to another, significantly less light it transmitted from the dark to bright side of the mirror than is reflected from the bright side back. Thus the dark side is not perceived on the bright side, as the reflected light overpowers any transmitted light from the dark side of the mirror. The bright side also transmits 50% of it's light to the dark, and with the dark having little light reflecting from it's side, light from the bright side overpowers the reflected light and is perceived as a see-through window).I used this to make a back plate for a custom birdhouse with my daughters which we have attached to the outside of one of our home's windows. We'll see how well it works with the birds :) The challenge will be keeping the indoors darker than outdoors, particularly at night with lights on in the home...

Exactly as advertised
Used this material to create lenses for a mask I 3d printed. It is exactly as advertised and I have no complaints.Material can be scored with a sharp x-acto blade, moved over an edge of a table, and pressed down upon in order to cut it into smaller sizes - note that like any acrylic, you must apply even pressure and make sure your score mark is deep enough. If used in the application of a mask/lenses, assuming the interior of the mask is as dark as possible, the transparency is comparable to wearing sunglasses. The opposite side is a perfectly mirrored surface.Did not have any damage for defects when I received it.

It's just a mirror, didn't send what is in the description.
It's just not the right thing, it arrived cracked. Worthless as a see-through mirror

The mirror that didn't mirror
I didn't actually receive a mirror. I received a piece of plexiglass which you could see through. There was no tint, and there was no mirror paint...just clear. I complained and asked for a return but was given a discount off of the plexiglass that I took because I could use it in a picture frame. I never did receive the mirror.

The 1mm thickness enough
The media could not be loaded. Arrived in good condition, but kind of high carbon foot print, made in China, send to US, then US send back to Singapore in Asia. 🤔

Scratches very easily.
I used it to make a smart mirror. Then I tried to clean it very gently to remove smudges. Now the mirror has become cloudy and I can't seem to get rid of the smudges and the streaks.Reached out to the company and they gave me a replacement free of cost!
