Saw Palmetto Serum for Hair Growth. With Rosemary, Peppermint Oils, 2oz

I've definitely see an increase in hair in my problem areas after 1 month. I use longer than directed tho. I use it as a scalp oil/grease replacement and I don't wash it out until wash day. I'm African American tho 🤷🏾‍♀️4c hair sisterlocked which is interlocked so i can wash right away and as many times as i want without unraveling. I put it on my scalp after washing my hair.LEAVE ON until the next wash day. It will absorb on a wet scalp. I wash my hair every 2-3 days with mature sisterlocks so i apply 2x a week. Mild smell. The smell is gone after about 12hrs. No one will smell it unless their nose is literally on your scalp. Plenty of black hair greases have a much stronger smell.I have black hair so this applies to black people since we tend to have dry scalps and grease our scalps anyway for braids and locks. This method is not for straight/caucasian hair. But it'll definitely grow your hair.

Hair feels thicker

I think this mix has potential to give a small added boost for anyone trying to keep their hair / prevent hair loss in combination with medication. The product did help keep my hair moisturized which helped with breakage and shedding. The oil overall smells good and is easy to apply, but will say the glass dropper can be fragile. Would recommend if anyone is looking to add onto their hair loss stack, may repurchase soon, but wouldn’t rely on it to be a miracle serum.

First of all, I guess everyone has a different sense of smell but I think it smells like an invigorating spa product - herbal and invigorating. Not an overpowering scent at all unless you're snorting it directly from the bottle up your nose. I sometimes apply it in the day and my hair just looks like it has some pomade in it.I will be transparent and say that I started this serum and taking finasteride about the same time: 9 months ago. But I intend to keep using both because my hair is looking fuller and healthier now. The studies I've read about saw palmetto are pretty positive and I feel like it's also helping my hair look more shiny and full. My issues are more alopecia areata than male pattern baldness. I can still see the circular patch of alopecia on my scalp but also had some hair shedding when I started finasteride, which is normal. Now I can see some regrowth and just a more robust appearance of my hair coming back. I attribute it to this serum and the medication.

My hair feels a lot healthier with this product. However, there are other products just like it that are much bigger and concentrated better for a better price. I also think there is more filler in this, being caster oil which I am not a fan of.

I dont usually write reviews but here it goes.. You have to be patient. It will work. Give it time. Dont expect crazy results in a week. Took me a good month + 1 week to see good results. On the product it says use 2-4 times a week but honestly i used it after every shower in the morning and let it sit on my head all day until i took my next shower. Make sure you massaging it into the scalp and not just on the hair (obviously)I look forward in using this brand! This product is difficult for me to rate at this point, because I assume that it's going to take some time before I start seeing measurable results. That being said, I thought it might be helpful to discuss my experience with it at this point. The hair on my head has slowly been thinning and receding over the course of the last 10 years. I have heard read some horror stories about the side effects of prescription solutions to hair loss. As I have always been the type to seek out natural remedies first, I thought that this seemed like a good option. I started using this product about 2 weeks ago. Some have complained about the smell, but being a more hippie dippie type guy, I think that I am used to more "earthy" smells. The smell of this product does not bother me at all. The dropper makes it easy to apply, so no issues there. I still have some hair on my head, so I'm not sure if it's being rubbed into my scalp deep enough, though. It's a little oily so if you are going to sleep with it in your hair, I suggest wearing a hood or something else to protect your pillow.

This product caused a neurological reaction. Two hours after applying it sparingly to a small section of my scalp, I had tremors so pronounced that I couldn't hold a glass of water. They dissipated overnight but it was extremely stressful.I had a hard time believing a "natural" hair serum could have been responsible for such a concerning reaction. There were no mentions on the label of any potential side effects, and there are no reviews mentioning it. In the pursuit of accurate information I tried it again a few days later. Just a few drops in only one spot. Sure enough, within an hour I was having neurological effects once again. I immediately washed my scalp repeatedly and the effects subsided.I have since researched all the oils and substances listed in the ingredients to see if any have a history of neurological side effects like tremors or disorganized cognition. The only one I found that had even a slight propensity for this caliber of side effect was rosemary oil. I tried a topical application of pure rosemary oil with no ill effects, and I have had no other neurological issues at all, of any kind, since the second trial with this product, so I know it was not due to my own system coincidentally being uncharacteristically out-of-whack during the span of the few days I was exposed to this product.I have no idea what happened with this serum, or why it had such a traumatic effect on my nervous system, but it did. I realize that this must be extremely uncommon, or other customers surely would have reported it. I'm writing this review solely for people like me who, for whatever reason, have a tendency towards odd/rare reactions to pharmaceutical/botanical substances. If you know that you have a history of unusual responses, please use this serum with caution.

Not as expected from the picture. Came in a small size which is misleading!!

So thick, not worth.

Smells bad, staining the pillow, hair fall even more!
