2010 NBA Champions: Los Angeles Lakers

I own all 5 dvds of Lakers championships (2000-2002, 2009-2010) but this one is easily the best of the bunch. It goes into much more depth about what the team went through the season. It displays a highlight of Kobe game winners throughout the season, from his injury and how his team carried the load while he was out, the addition of Ron Artest and his adjustments to the triangle, Derek Fisher's leadership, Pau Gasol's growth into becoming a much more physical player, many quotes from the players discussing their season, and of course the playoff run that led them to the championship. Of course this NBA series doesn't cover every single thing the team goes through during the season but that is what you can expect from this series as all of them are done in this style. Overall, this dvd does an amazing job in documenting what it can in it's 75 minute run-time and any Lakers or NBA fan would be sure to enjoy watching the journey of the 2009-2010 Los Angeles Lakers.

I give this DVD a 5 stars. Because it is great to watch, you see the Lakers from the begining of the season to the final game and there was some great interwies along the way. Okey some are saying that there should be a 4Q game 7 on this disk, but i think they are going to have all the games on DVD soon so that is not a proplem. I have every Championship DVD from 1980 and i put this on one the top.

I'm a Laker fan 50+ years, and no one respects the Celtics more than real Laker fans. But our victory in this Finals over our ancient nemesis is surely one of the sweetest of all. If you're not a Laker fan but are a fan of some NBA team, the Game 7 in this Finals is textbook perfect down to the hard fouls, blood on the court, absolute exhaustion of the players, and the extra security brought in because the crowd looked like it could break out in a riot any minute. Yes. I'm not kidding. There have been a lot of great games, but the Lakers and Celtics are experienced in turning a great game into a game that's practically impossible to forget. You just know something weird is going to happen when they're trying to beat each other for another title.

The Lakers 2010 commemorative championship DVD is a testament to their competitiveness, greatness and resolve as a team. What makes this one special is that it's a repeat and they avenged a loss to their nemesis from Boston 2 years prior. Kobe is even more spectacular and unbelievable and he continues to prove why he's an all-time great. If you're a Lakers fan you will truly appreciate this one!!!

This DVD has amazing highlights. It gives you behind the scenes looks at what goes on with the players emotions, feelings and work-outs for the season. It shows their ups and downs and their ultimate determination to repeat as NBA champions. It shows what happened in the regular season, playoffs and finals. If you are a Laker fan I strongly reccomend purchasing this DVD if you have the money.

This championship year wasn't as smooth as the year before it but that made it sweeter. Especially since they took revenge on both the Suns and Celtics! I'm going to watch this DVD a 100 times just to see the faces of the Celtics players as they walk of the court crushed after they made tons of promises they would win game 7. cheers!

Watch this video again and again and it really hurts me deep whenever I saw Kobe Bryant.

it was a decent recollection of this past season... The extra features were generic and not centeredaround the team at all. The league is making the videos for the champions now. I think that it would be better if they give that responsibilty to the franchise. They would have a familiar voice that fans could relate to and they would have more detail on the journey because they took it with them. Decent video but I have the previous 4 and this the worst.
