Description states "wood stud spacing of 16" 18" 24", this is not accurate as the width of the base plate is no way near 18" let alone 24"!Also I don't think there is anyway this particular wall mount would suit a 49" TV, 37-39" would really be the maximum in my opinion.So, after knocking off two points for the false description necessitating the need for me to run to B&Q to purchase 10mm screws long enough to go past the cavity and sufficiently enter the wall behind to secure the bracket, would I recommend this product?For the price, yes I would, it seems of reasonable quality and should hold my old 37" TV up.

Did not come with long enough screws. Older TVs are less likely to fit without longer screws. I bought like like longer M2 screws and it's fine now. I got 30mm X 8mm and a load of spacers but probably 25mm is better.
