I want to use these outside?** A: I like the material and feels durable. It is well stitched and put together. Not sure how it would handle the elements outdoors.. definitely not made for the rain. You may want to look up waterproof outdoor pillow covers instead. I'd assume they are a separate type of their own. Perhaps stores or websites that sell outdoor furniture can point you in the right direction. **Q: I’m confused. In the how to wash section it says to remove if they become wet or damp. So they can’t be washed?** A: These pillow covers are washable. I’ve washed them several times with no problem. However, I don’t tumble dry them, I lay them flat to dry. **Q: Are the khaki ones more brown or green looking?** A: The ones I have are more brown than green. **Q: What size of insert do I need for 20c20 pillow cover?** A: I bought a 12x20 pillow insert and the 12z20 pillow cover and it fit perfect. You have to stuff the insert into cover shape it a bit then zip it. They’re firm enough to look polished and do a “chop” but cozy enough to sink down in to read or watch tv.The olive green is on the darker side but it’s exactly what I was looking for to play off of the plants in the room.
