Helpful for women at any age but critical for women 15 to 25 years of age. During this time your body is finishing its development while the stress of adult life comes crashing in. Nicole's gentle leading helps restore and maintain a healthy balance so that you can navigate this minefield and build healthy lifelong habits.I'm currently using the book with my 20 year old niece who attends college nearby. It has brought us together as we each seek our individual answers. I've also sent a copy to her mother, my mother and my 25 year old daughter. While we all strive to live healthy lifestyles, bad habits creep in. This book helps reboot our focus while giving us a way to incorporate women's health discussions into our family gatherings.

An Amazing Resource
Fix Your Period is a phenomenal resource for women of all menstruating ages. As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner who specializes in female hormonal health I can honestly say this book is full of well researched and accurate information. I will be recommending this book to all of my clients, family, and friends! If you have a period or know someone who does do yourself a favor and get this book you'll be surprised at how much we were never taught about the female body and you'll now be empowered to take care of it!

Have problem-period? Read this book.
This book is like your old sister went to medical school and then came home and gave you all the secrets for how to fix your bloating, cramps, and annoyingly mysterious period problems. I'm in my 40s and there were things I learned about my body - how are we so unaware of what we need to be healthy! Nicole Jardim is a super-smart expert about hormones, periods, and how to make them our friends instead of our "Curse" (I listen to her podcast, too).

Nicole brings her wealth of knowledge about female bodies along with her compassion and understanding (because she has been there herself), to the pages of her brilliant book. I have no doubt the six-week protocol will take the mystery out of your menstrual cycle and improve your overall health.

Game changer for your period
I heard about this book through an Instagram live with CrossFit Athlete Allison Scudds. I immediately went and downloaded it to my Kindle. This book explained so much that I wasn't even aware of about my body. I wish the concepts in this book were taught to young girls in high school because I would have greatly benefited from it. They don't teach young girls how their body really works. It seems as if society is fast to push the quick fix of HBC on young women before educating on them on the intense effects it has on your overall health. Nicole's book break's down your menstrual cycle to a science but to where you can understand the exact process that's happening in your body. She makes it easy to understand and not like you're reading out of a college textbook. Her book teaches you to get in synch with your body and understand it to nurture your menstrual cycle, not constantly put a bandaid on it. Every woman needs to read this book!

Game changer!
The days of relying on cheesy/ridiculous women’s ads (pad absorbency demos with blue liquid, anyone??) and confusing 1 day (1 day?!) sex education classes in grade school to teach us about our bodies have met their match! Enter: this book!After stumbling upon Nicole’s work online years ago, I was able to not only balance my hormones, but I learned more about women’s health than I had from grade school (ew), my parents (ew) and even nursing school (just sad!). I was so excited to hear she was writing a book compiling her years of knowledge/research into one reference! She breaks down women’s health into a relatable and easy to understand way. Who knew our bodies didn’t have to be mysterious/confusing/off-table topics...they are actually amazing and fascinating!This book is a game changer and is a must-read for anyone with a beating heart. (Aka everyone.)

Essential for every woman
Unfortunately women understand so little about their hormones and suffer so much. It IS learnable, although there are few good resources out there. This book, if you really read it, will tell you everything you need to know about your cycle. I honestly think every woman should read it so we can support ourselves and one another.

Every woman should read this book
I'm so glad this book is finally here! Nicole's website was an amazing resource for me when trying to get pregnant, during postpartum, and for pretty much any puzzling health issue ever. I basically just type in google "Nicole Jardim [insert health issue]" and she has answers!I’ve bought this book for many women in my life who have been dealing with hormonal issues that they can’t get to the root of (or for who have just been offered a pill to shut their bodies up!).Unlike other books I've read on this topic, Nicole makes the topic hormone health relatable and fun to learn about. She breaks it all down like she’s talking to a bestie. I seriously recommend this book to every woman I know.

I have been waiting to have this book since before it even came out.If your'e telling me that you have everything that happenes within your body during your cycle down to a T, I dont belive you. Information filled and easy to read, this amazing book will decifer any questions and/or doubts that you may have regarding your hormons and cycle. Dont miss out and get yourself a copy. Not only will it make you more knoledgable with what is going on with your body, but you can put this knoledge into use and your body will thank you.Nicole, thank you SO much writing this book. Its life changing!!!!!!!

A thoroughly well researched book, jam packed with studies to support the content.
There are so many books available now on female health and hormone balance, it's hard to know where to begin. For me this book stands out a clear country mile for its in-depth coverage, taking complex medical subjects and making them easier to understand. I have recommended this book to GP friends who have also found this a useful and factually accurate resource to refresh their already extensive knowledge and it has been highly praised by them. The fact that there are so many citations to studies is reassuring that the author really has done her research and knows what she is talking about. It is also reassuring that a number of well known and hugely respected MDs in this field such as Dr Christiane Northrup, Dr, Aviva Romm, Dr Shawn Tassone and Dr Sara Gottfreid all think highly of the author and her work. As a licensed practitioner who has worked in the field of Women's Health for over 17 years, I know books like this don't come along very often. It is a gem for both the lay woman wanting to take accountability for her own health and practitioners wanting to deepen their knowledge base.

You need this
This book is as thick as my head and probably has as much information stored inside, if not more. It is honestly such an achievement and I’m beyond grateful to hold such a definitive resource in my hands.Balancing your hormones is about overall health and cultivating body literacy (the ability to interpret physical symptoms as messages from the body). This book provides proof of how incredibly intelligent the body’s healing mechanisms are, when given the proper conditions and materials.Every single person who menstruates or has children who menstruate NEEDS a copy of this book.

Highly recommend
I highly recommend this book, I read it in a few days and it has captivated me!Even though there is a lot of 'technical' information, it is clearly explained and easy to digest, and the 6-weeks program is easy enough to followThe only thing that I regret is that the meal plan for week 2 doesn't include more vegetarian options to replace the animal proteinA great read!

The road to self heal begins now
I brought this book to help me to self heal after doctors told me to just loose weight. I knew there was more to it than just this. I have been diagnosed with pcos and struggled for years with irregular periods, weight gain, mood swings etc this book has changed my life and educated and empowered me to balance my hormones naturally in order to fix my cycle and all the horrible side effects.This book is a must for anyone else who is struggling and just fobbed off my doctors.
