Alba Botanica Daily Moisturizing Lotion, Dry to Very Dry Skin, with Shea Butter and Coconut Oil, 32 Oz (Packaging May Vary)

I love the product and have been using it for probably close to 10 years, but it seems like the packaging is getting a bit lazier from the warehouse. The pump had come unsealed and then the normal jostling you get with shipping resulted in lotion inside the box and on the other items. Previous deliveries were shrink wrapped to keep the pump down and prevent this.

My skin is currently overly sensitive and this stuff has been great. I can even use it on my face and no fragrance to mess with my overly sensitive either

This lotion works very well and you get alot of it.

The packaging was top tier, first and foremost. I got unscented and it had a smell that was almost like a mildewy basement smell? I was tempted to return it but then I used it and I loved the way it made my skin feel and even look. Truly, a little goes a long way and then it really does soak/set in relatively fast. I am using it for my face only and I am loving it, minus the smell. I wish they had a nice gardenia version. Shouldn’t be too hard to make since they have some hair products with that scent. Also, I have very sensitive skin and this product, even tho it’s unscented, did cause a slight burning sensation after just washing my face. But I will continue to use it because it’s not that bad and it doesn’t leave my fair skin all red.

This is really nice lotion. Unscented and without any chemical smell. Rubs in easily and leaves just a very smooth feel on the skin. Used it on winter dry arms and could feel the skin "relax" from a tight feeling. It may do even more over time. Just started using it, so can't address long term effectiveness. Of note to some: no animal testing, synthetic fragrances, artificial colors, parabens, sulfates, petrolatum. 100% vegetarian ingredients. Dermatologist tested and cruelty free. Highly recommend.

This has been my go to product for years. I like the ingredients, the performance, the scent, and it never irritates my sensitive skin. What I haven't liked over the years is that the pump works for 80% of the container and the remaining 20% I have had to throw out. I did mention this to the company and they were very appreciative. However with my next container, no matter what I did the last 20 or 25% stayed in the container. It seems that the pump action does not work for some reason. The straw is long enough to touch the bottom of the container. When I spoke with the representative she said that they don't recommend cutting the container open. I thought that was odd and probably in response to other people having raise that issue. I went ahead and got a widemouthed refillable pump bottle with a widemouth at the top. I was delighted to have three of the containers of the product all with about 25% of the product at the bottom. I carefully cut the containers open and went ahead and just spooned the product into the widemouthed jar. To the bottles filled the widemouthed jar and I just went ahead and screwed the top on and I have now another container of the product! Now that's how you pepper a steak! If you are a fan of the Alba body lotions I would suggest that you buy these bottles and make sure you are getting your full monies worth. The product is outstanding.

I don't want to give it a bad review because it smelled wonderful and worked great for most of my family. However, it's definitely not suitable for sensitive skin. Two of my children had allergic reactions—one on his face and the other, my teenager (who usually doesn't have sensitive skin), on the top of his hands. Fortunately, the sensitive skin, fragrance-free version works great for all of us.

I am diabetic and my skin gets very dry and itchy. This is the best, most nourishing lotion that I have ever used. It is thick and rich and soaks right into my skin without leaving any greasy residue. It has a very light, pleasant scent with a hint of coconut. I use it year round. I have used it for years. The only drawback is that it is very difficult to get all of the lotion out when it's almost empty. I actually just bought some very long handles silicone spatula style bottle scrapers that I hope will help with this problem.
